just got in, staying at bellagio. playing the 5k venetian in the morning though instead of the 3k bellagio. i have no idea what the fields are like but i hear the venetian one is televised, so that gets my attention i suppose. come say hi!

i would advise against this, two events have already been cancelled and I wouldnt expect many runners to show up at this event (which is at 3 pm I believe).

OMG I am so mad at myself

from 200/400 until 600/1200 I never had more than 11 big blinds. Grining for 3 hours like that is THE WORST THING EVER

i have 13k at 600/1200 and tell myself, given my image, I should be opening ATC pjammer style. so i get Q9dd and make it 2800, and a loose sorta spewy player calls in LP.

Flop comes J85 two clubs, and I have a little over a PSB left and I decide a shove is best. He calls with the nut flush draw. GG.

So pissed right now. I could have kept shovebotting.

I COULD HAVE KEPT SHOVEBOTTING

fold to bakes it CO with 36k who calls
fold to me in SB with AQo i raise to 9750 and 23.5k behind
raiser folds and bakes thinks for 15 seconds and shoves

i try to talk myself into folding for like 2 minutes but call, bakes has 33

Anyone got plans the fight next Sunday? I'm not really down for 1k+ tickets to see it in person, but I'm down for ordering it somewhere or checking out one of the close circuit events at MGM.
