Hello guys... I'm new to this forum, but I'm certainly enjoying it compared to cardplayer. I'm gonna be in vegas from the 19-22 and was wondering if there is still gonna be any wpt coverage or action? Im really looking forward on this trip and i love how everyone gets together on this site. Hopefully i get a reply

Daniel Doubles to a Million

From UTG +1, Daniel Negreanu raises to 40,000 and David "Bakes" Baker re-raises to 140,000 out of the small blind. Negreanu calls and the two see a flop of 1084. Bakes immediately announces all in and Negreanu beats him into the pot with a call. Baker asks "You got a set?" and Negreanu nods yes. Baker shows AK and Negreanu shows 88. The turn is the J, the river is the 2 and Daniel Neagreanu doubles up to 1,155,000.

Bakes has to be crippled.

Wow that was fairly frustrating. I doubled up to 600k fairly quickly, literally bled down to 250k losing small and medium-sized pots, then lost shoving 250k at 8k/16k/2k to Daut's HJ open to 44k, my QTdd < his AKcc (two diamonds on the flop with a backdoor straight draw for me too, wtfffle).

I played close to A- game average for the first 3 days and probably B game today (although honestly, this is probably just selective memory since I picked up NO hands today and kept running into hands during all my opens and my ONE resteal allin).

like 550k, maybe a bit more. didn't really want to count it down hard as i thought it would seem weak.

Somewhat interesting coincidence

This was at the 2500 event on the 2nd or 3rd. Both Sorel Mizzi and Chris Vaughn were seated at the same table as me during hour 2. Sorel ended up busting Chris when his steal pf lost to Sorel's overpair shove on the flop. After the hand Chris was trying to walk away but Sorel quickly got up to shake his hand and complemented his play. After sitting back down Sorel said something to the effect of "Thought flop play was bad because I don't know how Chris plays"

I had no idea at the time who they both were until I looked them up online here and found out how the two were linked together "cheating" on the stars tourney.

Just seems a little odd that he wouldn't know how Chris plays even though he bought his stars seat from him. I suppose Chris knows a lot of the high stakes tourney players from his job and can contact them easily enough.

Kearly: A3
Jetten: KQ

Turn and River: 98

Kearly doubles up on the hand and Jetten takes a hit to his stack and now sits around 700,000.

Actual hand was I raise to 33k with KQdd, lindgren calls button, old man raises to 70k total we both call. Flop is 10-9-3dds he open shoves 310k I go all in erick folds, old man has the worst ahnd for me pretty much... A3dd somehow, I have 31% equity and lose

wasnt the last all in I lost that day, meh meh, was only all in and called once the whole tounrament and it was teh hand I busted... I really am cheering for Daut to win, he has a pretty soft field to go through imo.
