hi all !!

just a quick baground :

Am 40yo live in London. Been playing professionally for 8years with few breaks in between(broke)
Bankroll round 60K

Cash Game:
1/2 AND 1/3 for 5 years, then mainly 2/5 and occasional 5/10.

Tourney:
Live a good amount with a around 200K on hendon mob(1K buy-in max except for Las Vegas trip)
online around 4K tournament mainly Sundays and few series. Few small win here and there and also some deep runs in major but never big score. Anyway Graph terrible so far.

I am geting bored with cash game and want to switch to online mtt, but :
-I don't know what should be my max daily buy-in
-the minimum volume I should put to get a chance to be successful.
- my buy-in range

thanks MTTs Grinder !!

The calculator just got updated on 11th and you can calc yourself how many tourmants you have to play (based on the entrants number) to realize your ROI.

Basically saying, in volume, more is better, especially in high stakes tournaments that run way less than lower ones.

Standard BRM is 100 BI at least for normal tournaments, in turbos and deep fields (for example stars) 200 BI is totally ok.

Since it feels like your ICM game is not at the top right now I'd start with a more conservative approach and move up as soon as that is embedded.

I'd advice staying below $11 since variance in MTTs is brutal.

100 BI's is not enough, 200 is not enough, 300 is not enough
It depends on what you play.

Aim for small fields (Stars is horrible in this regard)
Slow structures have less variance though faster speeds allow you to play more volume.

There's a lot of stuff that is completely different in MTTs from cash games.
Basically anything below a 70bb stack, all the ranges change.

There's a lot of open-shoving and re-shoving vs an open, even as deep as 40bb.

ICM has a huge impact on the later stages.
