Scammer: Allan Baekke aka Sifosis , Allan Bękke is a thief

With the outings of people these days, felt like this was appropriate to finally get one of mine out there. I have numerous bad debts, but have always been accommodating with the last straw being when I'm not responded to. Given my last response from Allan was 2 years ago, this is is quite overdue.

I believe the original amount was $20k with interest due every two months at 5%. This is fairly high, but it is what he offered in what was supposed to be a very short term situation and I accepted. I had always looked up to Allan to some extent when I was coming up, he was a consistent crusher and seemed like a consummate professional. One thing that added to my willingness to loan him was that he lent a large amount to a mutual friend of ours a few years prior to help him out when he was in a tight spot.

It went well enough initially, being paid off slower than both of us would like but interest payments made and I believe we cut down the amount to $10k. That's when the excuses, slow responses and eventually non responses happened.

I think he also has a scam/bad debt with at least one other HUSNG regular who can add to this thread if he wishes.

I saw him recently multitabling MTT's on stars so in addition to just me wanted to get paid/responded to, I think this should be public knowledge to others.

I saw him multiple times playing zoom tournaments this year. I am also sure he made quite a bunch of money there.

Just cause he binked some tourneys doesn't mean he isn't neck deep in makeup. The sad reality for lots of perceived "crushers" is that they're debt slaves to their backers. Not trying to make excuses for him or anything but for the love of god stop lending poker players money.

Maybe he had 43.103$ in buyin that month ?
I think is beyond disqusting that you sign up to make this comment. You must have something personal in this case to sign up to make this as your first comment on 2plus2 ?

We dont know anything about this case from Sifosis side. I can tell that Sifosis is on a deal on a danish pokerforum. You should stop your hunt on him. We dont know what is rigth or wrong becuase some few pictures from a log.
Maybe Sifosis agree that he owns him the money, but dont have the money at this time.

Calm down please.

He seems very calm and is 100% right. On those forums Siphosis says he owes $ and doesn't want to talk about it. Seems very sketchy:

Sorry OP. Hope you get paid

Re: Scammer: Allan Baekke aka Sifosis , Allan Bękke is a thief

Update: This outing has at least gotten him to reply to me.

We are NOT settled, but he claims (and I believe) that he has no means to currently repay his debt to me but still plans to. As most of us in poker know, money won doesn't necessarily mean it's in the pocket as it is harder to know what was lost or in make-up with backers.

His ghosting of messages over our agreement is unacceptable and I still don't consider him a credible individual to collaborate, stake or lend money to. That being said he says he is trying to turn it around with financial matters and if he starts making payments I will update here and hopefully have my mind changed.

To play devil's advocate to his side, if he has struggled financially over the entirety of the past couple years with no means to pay it would have been a subject of embarrassment to respond without any positive result.

That being said, when you need to be publicly outed to respond to a debt you're clearly not trustworthy.

I'm from Denmark and also a part of this. I won't discuss my "case" itt as we are doing it privately and things are moving along as agreed. The post from him in the danish forum translated:

Quote:
I don't think this is the place to dicuss a private issue between QI and myself. We have been in contact over the phone several times these past years, and I genuinely thought that we were in a agreement on our deal and the way things were going. The initial amount that he lent me, has been paid back more than twice the amount in interest alone over the last 2 years. That doesn't mean, that he's not entitled to the rest of loan, and we have come to an agreement about how the rest of the debt will be settled. Apparently there has been a misunderstanding in what we agreed to, and I'm now in contact with the guy to get this sorted out. I don't feel the need to defend myself on 2+2 or here (danish forum), I think this matter should be solved in private between the parties involved.

With that said, feel free to speak your opinion about the matter in this thread (danish forum)
After this post, he has continued being active in the thread, as has been answering peoples questions. His last post were 2 days ago were he got annoyed, (and rightly so imo), by people that has nothing to do with him or the stake offers he has sold on the danish forum, interfering with nonsense posts. Danish poker forums are not that different from NVG here on 2+2.

Posted on a Danish poker forums.

I can see that many people are unhappy that I have interfered with Sifosis's stake, even though I have not stabbed him. That is fair enough, but when you start seeking stakes for more than $ 100,000 on an open forum, one must also expect that critical issues will be pointed out by forum users.

Here are the relationships that I have pointed out in another thread.

- Missing SharkScope opt-in

- The warning from Walth

- Non-repayment of loans

Missing SharkScope opt-in

"For info, I just asked for the opening of my sharkscope so stakers can follow the numbers there and see that things fit. How long it will take before it opens, I don't know."

Siphos wrote 19-03-2020 16:34

"As mentioned in the latest thread, I have also requested the opening of my sharkscope so that the numbers can be checked. I got the answer below two days ago, so there may be some time before it is open, but unless otherwise the numbers can be checked shortly.

Hello Allan,

Welcome to Stars Support! I hope this email finds you well.

We allow players to easily opt in to the various third party results websites, while still protecting their identity.

We will submit your request to the website you mention and expect this to be resolved in the next 10-14 days at the latest.

Thank you for your patience, and please let us know if you need further assistance.

Regards

Mariana

Why are you not opted into Sharkscope?
It could provide a pretty bold transparency. "

Siphos wrote 29-04-2020 18:03

"(...)

I had actually ordered opt-in to the shark, but the treatment took so long that I couldn't get it open before driving myself again a few days, so I just withdrew it. I would like to open again, and we will see how soon they can open "

Paymakerdk 30-04-2020 09:52

"By the way, I would greatly appreciate an opt-in on sharkscope or any other way you can track it "

Since then, many have asked why he is not opt-in. But he has not been interested in answering that.

The warning from Walth

Walth wrote 19-03-2020 16:28

"A friend made me aware of this thread, I have to advise people to give OP money.

In short, I borrowed OP some money a few years ago against getting them again when he hit Supernova Elita and thus wanted to get a payout. The problem was that he had promised several people this solution and when the OP hit SNE, there was not enough money to pay off all creditors. "

Non-repayment of loan

https://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/6...ut3ihbzsMYWFXQ

https://twitter.com/qihu00/status/1265103203609325569

The following has emerged:

- That backers have asked for an overview of deposits and disbursements. The OP has not been interested in that since, in his opinion, it will be more confusing than beneficial.

- Several users have stated that OP has been a poor payer.

After all this came up, Bridge decided to create this thread. I think that was the only thing to do. He should be praised for that.

Much of this could have been avoided if the OP had been honest. When you want to be staked for so much money, it is appropriate to state that you have a history of non-performing loans. In addition, one must also be willing to provide documentation in the form of ShakScope opt-in and summary of deposits and withdrawals from one's star account. Especially when backers demand it.

When translating a post from one language to another, please make sure that you do it 100% correct. That post from the danish forum did not say "$100.000" it said 100.000 kr. (~$15.000).

Reading through your post, there are actually several mistakes, due to bad translation I assume, that does not paint the correct picture of what was actually said in that thread. Mind you, I'm not here to defend Allan, I'm one of the people involved that has invested the largest amount of money in him. However it doesn't help anyone if you "mistranslate" his posts. Please stop doing this, or get a person that is better at english than you to help you.

I am well aware of that, trust me, however the poster "justme" posted a direct translation of a post from a thread on a Danish poker forum, that was incorrect. It doesn't help the transparency if words get twisted.
