I actually enjoy 888 bonuses. for me is: for every $1 of your “contributed rake” you will earn 2 Bonus Points. a player must accumulate 40 Bonus Points before withdrawing a bonus totaling $10.that is 50% rakeback when you have a bonus.

In your terms is even better: 80% rakeback (25 bonus points for $10 ).

Yes your winnings are regarded as bonus until you clear it , but don't disappear if you don't manage to complete it.

I don't know about transfers . It should be required only to play the amount you receive.

Any news on this? I moved to Pokerstars after reading this thread (and after contacting 888 support and receiving their answer). I'm wondering if your transfers were actually confiscated.

First Facts:Canadian Law /Gambling is illegal/PERIOD. The Canadian Government does not follow the Rule Of Canadian Law.(So to be able to get around the Canadian Law the Canadian Federal Government changed the name of Gambling to Gaming to get around the LAW to be able to Tax the revenue generated from Gambling/Gaming).Next:Fact #2/ ONLINE GAMING/GAMBLING /Regulations for Canada/ SOFTWARE CAN LEGALLY BE MANIPULATED/ #2 BOTS ARE LEGAL
So just with these 2 regulations I have pointed out to you ,you now realize that ONLINE GAMING/GAMBLING in CANADA is a complete and absolute criminal in intent setup by the Canadian Government a SCAM.4 Billion dollars is taxed annually through this thievery. If you don't believe me call your Provincial Liquor and Gaming Commission and simply ask them if these are factual regulations and i'm telling you if your a Canadian Citizen THEY CAN NOT LIE TO YOU.Our own Government has set up a criminal in intent fraudulent system by setting the regulations to allow software to be legally manipulated so the Gaming sites get to legally cheat you of you money.Oh and they also are legally allowed to use a computer or computers to play you as well.

In 2016, I signed up for 888poker after learning of the 100% deposit bonus. I deposited 200$ and after some time playing requested to withdraw 300$. As soon as the deposit went through I got a generic email stating my account had been froze. After some back and forth they reinstated my account minus any future bonuses. Here is the email exchange.
Cliffs:
account was frozen then reinstated
i stopped using the platform mainly because they treated me like i was a criminal
after almost 3 years the still send me the same generic computer generated response.

I can't believe you decided to take this action. I'm hoping you will reconsider. By no means was it my intention to abuse the rewards system. I wagered thousands of dollars on your site and as soon is I withdrawal money you close my account? Please explain your decision, in my opinion this is totally unjust. I could understand cancelling any outstanding promotions if that is your opinion however banning me for no reason is so wrong. I've played poker online for over 9 years across all sites and have never been accused of any wrongdoing. I feel falsely accused and would like an explanation and reversal of your decision to close my account.

I just wanted to follow up, i hadn't heard a response and I have some questions. I was just wondering if it was necessary to confirm my identity again? i assumed i didn't need to because i had already done that when i opened my account. I am wondering why my account is restricted and what exactly that means?

hello, I'm writing to inquire about the status of my identify confirmation . i had sent in a notarized copy of my drivers license a few days ago and still haven't heard a response.

Thank you for your email and we're sorry that you feel this way.

•Notarized photocopy of your ID, Passport or Driver's License.

When you said your decision to close my account was "not made haste or without serious deliberation as we have noticed patterns between your deposits and cash-outs and the fact that you have engaged in an unusually low amount of wagering bearing in mind your deposit levels' i highly doubt you looked closely into my betting patterns.
1) i didn't exhaust all my bonuses before my 100% deposit bonus had expired

2) i never imagined playing enough on 888 poker to clear bonuses, however once i won a tournament a few months ago i started using your betting platform more then other competitors.

3)i would think i had anything but "unusually low amount of wagering bearing in mind your deposit levels" as i stated in an earlier email i have wagered 1000s of dollars on 888 poker and only had an initial deposit of around 200$

4)i decided to withdraw the remainder of my account balance so i can verify a bank wire would work for me( as your can see in my transaction history i had several incomplete wire transfers before my last one worked) also i needed the money at the time.

I don't understand how you can offer a 100% deposit bonus and then close an account of someone who was attracted to your site originally for that offer. Even though your promotions are what attracted me to 888poker i really enjoyed your betting platform and want the opportunity to play.

Ive been wrongfully accused of abusing the rewards system and would like to settle this issue. I have had to jump through hoops to get that license photocopied, notarized, scanned, emailed and would appreciate a timely response about this issue that isn't a computer generated generic response.

Dear Darcy,

This is the Operations Team at 888poker and we are contacting you with regards to your account with username thebank1212.

According to the User Agreement you have with us, in the event that we believe that if a user is abusing or attempting to abuse a bonus or other promotion, or is likely to benefit through abuse or lack of good faith from a gaming policy adopted by us, then we may in our sole discretion, deny any bonus or promotion, or rescind any policy in respect of that user, either temporarily or permanently.

This email is to inform you that we have made a decision to deny you from obtaining any promotional bonuses from us in the future.

This decision is prompted by your account activity (mostly based on depositing repeatedly during promotional events in order to cash out bonuses with minimal risks), which is highly inconsistent with our philosophy of rewarding players who take risks and enjoy gambling.

Sincerely,

Operations Team
operations@cassava.net

i just wanted to thank you for the quick response and for reopening my account, i do appreciate the privilege to use 888 betting platforms. Again I must state it was never my intention to abuse the rewards system. can you explain your reasoning behind this statement:

"This decision is prompted by your account activity (mostly based on depositing repeatedly during promotional events in order to cash out bonuses with minimal risks), which is highly inconsistent with our philosophy of rewarding players who
take risks and enjoy gambling."

how can you say i deposited repeated during promotional events when i only deposited once. i really think if you took a closer look at my betting and deposit history on 888 poker, casino, and sport platforms it would be easy to see it was never my intention to abuse the rewards system.

Dear Darcy,

This is the Operations Team at 888poker and we are contacting you with regards to your account with username "thebank1212".

Our decision was based on your account activity and gaming behavior, which made us believe that you were abusing or attempting to abuse our bonuses.

These decisions are reviewed on a regular basis and may be changed in the near future.

Many thanks for your cooperation and understanding in this matter.

Hello,

I am writing in hope to speak with a representative about the possibility
of reconsidering my accounts ineligibility for promotions.

The 100% deposit bonus your offered your players was the reason that I
decided to try the site for the purposes of playing poker. When I seen you
could earn the bonus by sports betting and table games I primarily used it
for that reason and played poker on other platforms.

I never had the intention to abuse the rewards system. I never thought i
would be punished for using the rewards your company offers its consumers
to attract us to play here. I felt at the time when my account was
restricted that the decision was unfair. I was told this matter would be
reconsidered.

Dear Darcy,

This is the Operations Team at 888poker and we are contacting you with regards to your account with username "thebank1212".

Thank you for your e-mail and we are happy that you highlighted these areas of concern and provided feedback to us.

Please understand that this decision was not made with haste or without serious deliberation as we have noticed patterns between your deposits and cash-outs and the fact that you have engaged in an unusually low amount of wagering bearing in mind your deposit levels.

Darcy, as previously highlighted to you, our expectation is that our members will deposit in order to actively play with their own funds, and it is apparent that you are depositing specifically to receive a bonus and/or free entry to Tournaments. This is clear bonus abuse and is not deemed to be recreational.

As per our Terms and Conditions, the Company reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to terminate the user's access to the Service and/or block that user's account.

You can rest assured that you are a valuable player, and you can continue to enjoy our great games and services in the casino, but at this time you will no longer receive bonuses or special offers from us due to your account activity.

We apologize for any inconvenience to understanding and would be greatly appreciated.

Regards,

Operations Team

Hello dear community. Looks like they never changed this policy. BUT now they changed the bonus policy in general, so you can only play with the bonus if your account is empty or you lose your whole bankroll first. This is a huge scam no? I cerainly would not advise anyone to use the player transfer feature on 888...

Very dodgy crew in my experience.

Lost money on the poker site.
Started betting on the horses, which I know the time of day about.
Was winning on a regular basis, what do they do but steal half my money.
When I asked what was going on, they could not give any proper explanation other than some cock and bull story that was nonsense.
They did no longer want my business and that was their way of getting rid of me.
It worked because I withdrew what was left in my account and closed it.
I knew I was wasting my time complaining to any organisation so I left it at that.
It was robbery, no other way to describe it.

confirmed this with support, literally impossible to cashout money transferred to you if you are a winning player and don't go on a downswing that covers all the money that was transferred to you.
