Heads up portion of the tournament.

Villain 1: There were only 36 entrants to the tourney and hero and villain played at the same table the entire time. Villain doesn't seem to be very good. Villain is definitely on the looser side and is very passive. I've seen villain 1 limp, another villain open, another villain 3! and villain 1 flat that 3! on three different occasions. On all three occasions villain 1 x-f the flop. At the very beginning of the tournament (full ring), I saw villain limp UTG, call a BTN 3x open and two half sized pot bets (flop and turn) on a Kh 7c 3d 9d As board with Q7o.

Hero: Hero has a very aggressive image. If villain is a thinking opponent at all, he has seen hero play very tight in the beginning and get more loose as the blinds have raised, all while keeping a 3x open size throughout the entire tournament. Hero and villain are yet to get to a showdown hand, and this is five hands into heads up.

OTTH

Hero (27 BB) in SB opens 3x with K 8 and villain one (31 BB) flats.

Flop (6 BB): K 9 5. Hero bets 4 BB and villain calls.

Turn (14 BB): 2. Hero bets 7 BB and villain calls.

River (28 BB): 4. Villain shoves. Hero?

3x open is dumb and really bad heads up, especially when short. Guys can start shoving way lighter.

As long as you were going for the b/x line but realized double flush draws you can get value from a ton of hands still get value from. Also 2/3 is way too much on that flop, I'd use 1/3.

Depends on if you think he's willing to shove all his 6x flush draws and how wide he is willing to float you, his value hands are A3s (2 combos), K4o (6 combos) and 44, so 11 value combos total, so he has to have at least 5 bluffs if he's jamming about pot size.
