How hard can it be to come up with a decent structure for the limit events ? With all the staff u have ?
You guys manage to *** up every single series

lol at 'taking a look' a few days before event starts.

In the end, we decided that the HORSE and 8-Game structures are fine as they are. While there was room for small improvements in the FL/PL structures, the mixed games are already in-line with the small extensions made to FL/PL. We'll continue, as we always do, to evaluate the structures as we go along. Thanks to all who have provided constructive feedback along the way.

Not sure if this has been mentioned in the thread already, but why is the 215 TCOOP on sunday not alongside the warm up? Why would you replace it? All you've done is made the warm up worse. The double vision sundays get more than enough volume. Surely it would be better to run the warm up as normal AND the 215 TCOOP at 11am.

What're you looking for and not finding?

Many types of satellites have run throughout the weeks leading up to the Main Event. It's pretty common for a new type or two (or three, or four...) to appear on the last day as the schedule gets uncluttered once and for all and there's room for more variety focused on a single event.

Perhaps. As I think I mentioned before, we have discussed the idea of not having any satellites at all to the High Roller, or limiting them to high stakes satellites, etc.

Great job on the $7.50 3-x turbo satellites (and $3.33) to the main event. Hopefully we see them again for more COOPs

can we please have some more TCOOPs this year? i'm disappointed with my TLB finish and don't want to wait a whole year to try to win it again.

would be (even more) happy with a HYPERTCOOP or TMICROMILLIONS too

weaknesses/things missing that were there before in other series final satellite day:

-WTA Hyper Double Shootouts to the Higher Buyins. I saw turbos with 3 seats that filled very slow to the 700 only i think. fine with non WTA, and even turbos. but the hypers offered during wcoop were very popular as well and actually filled/ran

-More Round 2s to the Last Chance Qualifiers. And more Round 2 type satellites with Big Round 1s

-Did we have ANY 3xs to the 2100 at all this year?

-Big 215 satty to the 2k. the 27 to the 215 seemed to work.

-Biggest Gripe is Quanity Quanity Quanity. especially at the midstakes level (50+). During other series we can JUST play stars the day of, and have a screen full screen of games between MTTs and high value playable staellites. There just were not enough this morning. There are 8 good sundays a year for satellites on Pokerstars. Some people are traveling out of the country for these days!

-Run More Satellites to the big events (2k, 700) prior to the day of. Especially the day before when there aren't any big NL events (which is also another surprise). Feel the same every series about this though.

-More curious than anything, but why run the HR so relatively early to the bulk of the HS tournament selection on stars?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

areas i felt were strong:

-myself and every reg i know would like to thank you for some of the rake breaks at higher stakes sats. any 33r 2x, 33r, 109 2x, 50r is going to be preferable to a small field 162/215/320 FO (even if this was unintentional consequence of making these tournaments, we are grateful). this is the first time i remember a 109 2x format during a series so i thought that was cool since it doesnt make the initial buyins so inaccessabile for everyone else either. i think you should see pretty good traffic in these formats vs say a 215/320, which i felt like i saw a lot less of. if you do run these 215s and 320s though, make some round 1 satellites to them! so kudos again here. just MORE of all of them. how about trialing 109 2x turbo, 55 2x turbo the the 1k this week? will also x-post this in sat suggestion thread to see if other regs like the idea

-lots of 3xs to the 700. 16.5 2xs.this was SWEET
the bulk of these seemed to all started running AFTER a bunch of the high stakes tournaments all started running. run more of these earlier in the day. run as many as you can fit in the lobby late in the day.

-variety. especially for the 700 main. let's hope that trend continues for SCOOP. and across ALL buyin levels (including the 2k highrollers)

-lots of people got into the target events and they got bigger than before . Another TCOOP down!
