This part is bad... it was systo's strategy for a LONG time, ask him how it worked out for him. He got lynched early, EVERY game. Even now, after he's finally stopped doing it, people STILL want to lynch him early because of his old meta.
Basically it's a BAD plan, so if you intend to continue that course of action, don't be surprised if you get lynched early as a villager or a wolf EVERY time. Ask Systo how many must-lynches he lived to while he was doing that. Not many I'd wager... I like playing with Systo now, and it bugs me when everyone tries to turbo-lynch him when I think he's a villager. You are just setting yourself up for a lot of frustration with your plan imo.
Which is exactly why I'll NEVER compromise my villager game for my wolf one. I LOVE wolfing... but ~75% of the time you are a villager. I'd rather have a good wolf game and an EXCELLENT villager one. I think I've accomplished that. Even if I'm wrong about wolf reads, I myself am easily cleared by others. And I do a lot of legwork to make it easy for the rest of the village to make up their minds. I try not to blinder. I really do try, I mean even you have to admit I keep giving you chance after chance. IMO, until you are lynched you can change my mind. I've had my mind changed at the last minute before and cleared someone that was literally about to be lynched at EOD and found better wagons. You can only work with what you are given though. So if you don't give me villagery, I can't clear you for it. I asked you to give me your opinion on two people (EASY rereads) and why, and you still haven't done it. Why not, I have no idea? But if you get lynched this game, you can only blame yourself.
When I say merge my wolf and villa games, I don't mean entirely. I am taking about partial merging of certain things that I would do in one role and not the other, making sure to do each in both. A good example of this is seer cover. If I only provide seer cover during my wolf games, than all of a sudden my games a lot easier to read. However, if I integrate seer cover into village games also, that balances my range.
And you asked me about loosekannen earlier. I read him as a villa and hes gone. I would love to read some more posters, but they arere not posting otherwise than the standard, "I agree", "That's so wolfy of you to say", and/or "Wait, lets not MAJ yet guys! It's too early!"and so as well as countless fluff, giving no critical info.
Point of reference: loosekannen has employed the
Vyk-centered defense methodology in all of his previous villa games with me and he has been mislynched and flipped villa every time. He had a few good quotes about defense strategy in the mason noob game about that.
About the bolded: if you are the tie breaking vote which lynches me down the line, I am not going to blame myself/ It is going to be your fault we lost, for failing to read my
Vyk-centered defense properly. That is my own personal style and it's something you will quickly notice and become accustomed to down the line.
Your command of "QUICK, DO VILLAGERY STUFF SO I CAN CLEAR YOU" is highly exploitative for experienced wolves. You are much better off judging my reaction after applying pressure. Do I thunderdome you? Do I get mad? Do I ignore you? Do I go out of my way to qualm your fears? Do I post a LOLcat in response?
This is all critical,
Vyk-centered defense information that I have given you for the luxury of your analysis and interpretation, rather than just a scripted and faked outpouring of posts fitting what I believe to be your villagery template.
