You assume the wolf team is going to out itself to save vyk or aksdal? I don't see it, they both had a lot of heat. And it's not like saving an experienced wolf. The thing is more if they were going to get a mislynch out of it... but it's too early to risk wolves for an extra mislynch, you do that when you are closer to a win, not day 1 imo.

Why is this is a safe assumption?

I know I'm villa and I really don't think any nut/zay/sun/hoya are wolves.

So among the name brand players I guess it's too soon to clear Herbie or s00ted, but I don't think we can safely assume that at least one of them is a wolf.

There's no reason that the wolf team can't be something like vyk/hifi/fnord/anarchist and they would be fully capable of letting a w/v flip occur.

It's anti-villa to just say "I want to catch the good wolf" on d2 and vote me. It's much more important that I don't get lynched early as villa than I do get lynched early as a wolf.

I disagree. The last hours and minutes were quite slow, and I also think wolves actually try harder to save one of the team on d1 than on later days when heat is stronger. There was plenty of time to try to save one of vyk or aksdal or build a case for someone else, but it wasn't necessary since both are villas.

Also if I'm the wolf team, I try to lynch Dean over Aksdal/vyk yesterday.

A lot of wolves are afraid of outing themselves to save their partner.

Consider that vyk is a wolf for a moment. I believe that this also makes HiFi a wolf, and she made an effort to save him by voting aksdal. Then it's perfectly reasonable for the other two wolves to be like, anarchist/fnord who are just sitting on the third wagon and hoping that nothing goes awry.

Typically, from what I've seen if a wolf gets heat early wolves like to pile on to clear themselves and not the opposite... cause it's something that drives me crazy when I'm on the team doing it. I spent most of Disney frustrated because of it... same with CoA but a little less so. Disney was BAD. Wolves were actually ITAing each other.

I'll keep your thoughts in mind when rereading though.
