Fnord, I do this quite a bit when re-reading. I have a terrible memory about peoples posting styles etc, so do it to help me out.

Dont you think that comparing the posting style of a player from a game with a known role vs their posting this game might be useful?

I will even use an example just for you, even though I dont really want to.

In this game, Herbie started out posting fluff, and just being friendly etc. Dean mentioned the miencraften game where he and Herbie were w/w, nut notices Herbie cleared Dean on the 39th post. So I went and read the first couple pages and Herbie was posting reads like mad, 100% the opposite of this game.

I was ready to clear Herbie for it, that would be helpful dontcha think??

In this case, it sucked, cuz right after I did that, Herbie posted that he wasnt going to post reads the first day.

Also, I find it funny that you say I should be re-reading the thread but yet also say there isnt anything there, even though you have read it 3 times.

Herbie: he just seems like he is phoning in stuff that sounds villagery. His Hoya may be a wolf post set off alarms at the time. Not because it was technically incorrect, it just felt like a wolf trying to sound like a diligent villager. If it came midst a lot of other diligent villager posts it probably wouldn't bother me. He didn't vote the day dean got lynched. Maybe he wasn't around, entirely possible, but also possible he came in on Sunday and avoided voting. also a little sponging off of your read yesterday.

JD had a baby and low posting. I don't recall much from him but I really don't like his posts today. The other game one especially.

I honestly have no clue about uaw. Starting my reread just focusing on those three soon.

Your reading another game for one player who is defacto clear is pretty bad, and if you don't know he is defacto clear then you need to read this game.

I believe I said I don't recall anything about you or uaw, not that there isn't anything in this game.

And really, asking if someone happens to have a link to a game mentioned in th thread sounds like "look at me I am villagering, see, villagering villager here."

Maybe it is just bad timing for you, but all the other game reading stuff that anyone was doing happened day one and two I think.

Honestly, I dont care if it sounds bad for me, unless you plan on voting now and losing. I am going to keep reading and trying to reach some conclusions that will help us win.

I am trying to not tilt too much, but LOL at skewering xxsooted for his snipe, he was LDO getting lynched this game. As a matter of fact, the last 3+ lynched have all been default lynches, which is why noone is doing anything.

Yeah yeah I keep promising stuff and not posting it but it's because I've been slammed at work and there really hasn't been any immediate need for me to post anything, and there really still isn't as long as we no lynch today. I realize it sucks but sometimes I just don't have time to reread everything and post as much analysis as I'd like to. The fact that I haven't had time to post doesn't make me a wolf here. If anything as a wolf I'd be more likely come in and pretend to have reread and just post some bull**** to make it look like I was contributing.

I'm also amused that everybody seems to want to vote me now, and it's going to be very disappointing if I solved the game last week and village ends up losing by lynching me, but it won't be terribly surprising.

Herbie, how exactly did you solve the game last week? I don't recall any post where you had everything broken, but I do recall a post where you said the next lynches were auto so you couldnt motivate yourself, and another suggesting Hoya might be a wolf.

I was talking about the post where I softcleared Sun/Zaya/Hoya/UAW/Supine because I thought they were villagers and because they had a possibility of being Dean's peeks. I made the post about Hoya because it was something that randomly came to my mind and I figured I'd rather look stupid by posting it then regretting thinking it but not posting it if it turned out to be true.

Also saying that my post "suggested that Hoya might be a wolf", while technically true, is seriously overstating the degree of suspicion that I had.

I definitely want to no-lynch.

All I ask is that if you're a villager you at least keep an open mind about me until I can make the case for me being a villager.

Actually the more I think about it the more it makes sense that I'm currently in this situation, and it's ridiculous, but hopefully I can shed some light on what's actually been happening here that has taken me from feeling like it was likely that I was going to be nightkilled to feeling like I'm probably going to be mislynched to lose the game while nothing has happened except 3 consecutive uncontested lynches.

Point was you cant claim credit for solving the game if you then go back and change your clears. Also, even given all the ppl you mentioned and you are villa, it doesn't solve the game. You need at least one more villa.

my mind is certainly open, I'm sure I'll flip flop a lot. I'm not even thrilled about my clears; basically I am paranoid about everyone. (but I'm not voting my cleared players today or tomorrow).

No lynch is a cop out. Anarchist most likely gets eaten tonight and we have the same decision tmw, and if we get it right another must lynch. Oh an a little game called hp3 starts half way through tmw.
