I really hope I don't regret this, but I'm gonna soft-clear Dean here. He's been wolf hunting, what appears to be genuine wolf hunting. I know his switch yesterday at EOD doesn't look the greatest, but I'm kind of wondering if he didn't do it because of HDM. Since aks was villa, he actually looks better for it, but it really is hard to say without knowing Vyk's role.

When she came in on D1 and added some spam to my spam, I liked it because it was amusing, and when she called me a lock villager (but not her peek) I liked it some more because I can be a sucker for being called a villager.

Her tone doesn't seem forced, but it doesn't appear like she's really trying to figure out the game.

I could be convinced to vote her ... but how does her tone compare to other games? I've never played a long game with her, and we might have somehow not even been in a turbo together.

There I go asking for someone to say if she usually sounds different as a villager, and trying to use that as a dterminer of her role.

(lol to my Black Panther friend about that topic in a second btw.)
It's not all of them, just the first two batches, I stopped quoting when I realized it wasn't really helping me decide. She's always wolfy to me, no offense HiFi .

Great xpost by the way, I was still reading and hemming and hawing and decided to soft clear him.

That's precisely why it does work. There are only two basic roles (discounting the seers-sound-wolfy bit for now). Most everyone has a villager tone and a wolf tone that is different. They also have differences in posting style, amount of posts, aggro levels and interaction levels. So if someone plays three villa games and posts in a similar style and tone, then plays a game where that style and/or tone is different or their modus operandi is different, it usually means their role is different.

fortunately, her village game can't be faked as a wolf
So, what you are saying is that Zayana has a different mindset as a wolf and that her villager game is different than her wolf game.

I think my good man Sun sometimes likes to be contrary just for the fun of it or to see how people react.

Anyway, enough of that.

What about herbie?

I put him on the back burner and haven't had much interaction w/ him.

Does this seem like villager, interactive Herbie to you, or does he seem different?

That's where I'm asking for a little help, and I need to read this thread more and don't want to find a Hi-Fi wolf game and villager game to peruse.

Apparently she's been a wolf a lot lately, so is her tone similar or different? (I'm an ass sometimes. lol)

He's gone, I need him here and posting to answer that. I did help mislynch him in a game when he was gone and not posting much. When he did post he felt ok, but that was for such a short period at a time and it's easy to pull off those kind of posts in smaller spurts so I leveled myself into thinking he was a wolf that game.

He promised in this game, and I didn't ask him to... I mean he didn't just say I'm a villager... he promised he's a villager. It's probably just me, but promises carry weight and in my case an expectancy of truth. Naive? I suppose anyone could exploit that with me in the future too now.

I can help with both if the answer is want to, though the villa game is not recent.

For people questioning Anarchy:

I think if he keeps playing, he's going to be one of those people that almost always sounds wolfy. But he has to be a villager here.

And here's why:

If you remove the word "Like" this post that ends with a wolfy overtone to it, instead sounds really, really villagery. The word "Like" makes this sound a little contrived, indirect, and therefore wolfy. But remember, our new friend is, like, 19 years old.

To break out the I KNOW I am a villager as a first-time wolf would be pretty tough to do. To put that emphasis on it is really, really villagery. Note for other newer players: If you try this later in the game, it will obv not pack the same punch of villageryousnous.

Someone point me to a person playing in their very first game and saying this as a wolf - ever - and I'll vote Anarchist. Just don't see it.

My games are so vastly different that a quick skim of both makes it obvious. My main goal is to be villagery enough as a wolf that people don't even think to skim my games. I get peeked a lot as a wolf though, I never get peeked as a villager (unless you are a paranoid mets! mets)

don't want to because I need to focus on re-reading this thread. But if you have recent links to villa Hi-Fi and wolf Hi-Fi, I will make a quick speed read of a couple of pages of each just to see if I see any differences.

(haha I just can't ****ing help myself sometimes.)

Not too concerned about it being really recent I guess.

You sound like me :P I have nothing for recent villa hifi, I do have one where she tilted and went off on t1ghter and the self banned for a while. But that was a while ago and imo she's been much more composed since then. So I don't know that it will help too much. I'll dig though Wolf game is easy though, cause I was just going through miencraften

btw, how did you find that Average Speed No. XX-whatever game from a million years ago that fnord, Supine and I played in?

extra btw, there really should be a chronological library of every long ww game ever played in a sticky - maybe broken down into sub-categories (slow, vanilla mish-mash) etc.

Would be a huge task, but awesome. (If one already exists, nm, I'm an idiot.)

That's the most recent non-mishmash recent game I found

I searched POG for "fnord is a wolf" *laugh* then tried to find games that sounded like they could be vanilla

There is a list, not sure if it's broken down at all

If we can figure out if she's villa or wolf it could help eliminate a potential mislynch for the wolves. I know she gets heat a lot.

She is way more jokey as a wolf it seems, at least quick compare of those two games. Might just be her mood on a given day...

I hate to say this, but comparing the games I think she's a wolf here. Before someone asks, I hate to say it because it seems like she really just can't catch a break with the rand. I can't imagine how frustrating it would be to get randed wolf as often as she has recently.

Her villa game feels villa. I know I used to think she always felt wolfy because her personality was more aggressive than I was used to. But really, skimming that no seer game it feels good.

Who should I do next? Sooted? I can say he's already felt villa compared to the game I just wolfed with him, but I'll reread just in case.
