I think he is a wolf. My point is, if Dean is a villager, I would have tried to get him lynched over aksdal/vyk yesterday if I were the wolf team.

I saw your questions/comments dean and I'll answer eventually when I've done a more thorough reread. A bit too sunny atm. ;>

OK, I really don't get late vote yesterday. This is I saw:

Dean saying he was voting for aksdal because he thought he was a wolf.
Dean saying he thought Vyk's vote on Aks instead of him was villagery.
Dean saying he thought he saw Vyk defending himself in a similar way as a villager before.
Dean voting VYK with 9 minutes before EOD (once he was reasonably safe) to throw aksdal a bone so he could see day 2.

(Yeah, I kind of have blinders on here, but Dean just looks really bad to me. I guess one could make the defense that making that lynch a late flip is so bad a wolf would never do it, but I hate those kinds of defenses. It feels like aks/vyk were v/v and dean is w to me, but that is probably projecting too much.)

I didn't say vyk's vote on aks was villagery. I said it made them unlikely to be w/w

Then I re-read the turbo and his reaction wasn't as similar as I had made it out to be in my head.

And I thought it was wolfy how he was volunteering to get lynched.

And I just wasn't as certain on aks being a wolf anymore.

FWIW I thought that post was kinda villagery by vyk. Not clearing in any way, but it's not something that I have seen many newish wolves do.
This is what I was talking about.

So maybe I misread that as you thinking the vote was villagery, but definitely you are giving some villager points for something here.

OK that was unclear on my part

I was referring to the post where he told Zayana that he's never w/w with aksdal.

I think it's normally a village tell for newer wolves but I wasn't confident enough in it to call vyk a bad vote for it.

One of the things I look for in wolf hunting is a lack of internal consistency in the stories people are telling. That is why I really don't like your switch last night.

To make a distinguishing point, I don't agree with your heuristic that offering yourself up for lynch is wolfy, but that is a matter of opinion. (I actually think that sort of thing is very player dependent. I tend to get lynched gracefully as a villager, giving my best reads and thoughts before I die; when I am a wolf, I mimic this approach, but that is me.)

I'm giving you the WN approach

I'm not clearing you until I'm 100% sure

tbh, I haven't read you that closely yet and don't plan to for another day or 2

well that's a nice theory but the fact is wolves often let wolves go to a flip so your idea is refuted by the empirical data

Do you think >50 % of D1 flips contain 1 wolf?

Well, thats what I believe; from the wolves perspective both wagons were good.

Don't have a lot of time to post today, but I'm just gonna say a few of you are confusing my indecisiveness on day with with wolfiness.

Just chiming in to say that I'm reading along... and also I'm really ****ing confused. I feel like both choices d1 were villa and we got just about zero information out of it. Still dubious on hifi if only because of coming at me a few times and being really really wrong. Trying to start a wagon that nobody else wants. I'll continue reading throughout the day. Hope I don't feel so useless all day.

So zaya, who are you willing to vote today? I could go dean (ldo) or anarchist. Loose is not out of the question. That is not necessarily my complete list of people I wouldn't mind seeing lynched today, but it is a good start.

+1

i also feel compelled to clear you, nut, hoya, loose, supine, and uaw

so if people wisen up and realize i'm villa, that leaves not many possible wolf combinations.

so let's pause for a moment and say hypothetically if i'm erroneously clearing a wolf, who is it?

Well HiFi claimed to be an excited villager but instead she's playing like a wolf who doesn't give a ****. I just re-read her and she has yet to post anything that resembles a thought process, let alone a villagery one.

This post is just a complete joke, and for a villager to vote me over her you would have to be high on crack or something.

I agree with this but can't decide whether you posted it because you believe it or you posted it because you want me to wagon it. I like a hifi vote on this day but will wait for wagons again.

Dean,

I Hifi is not really on my radar yet in any way, I'll go back and reread her specifically later today. I hate, utterly hate, arguments like "you would have to be high on crack to vote me over her." Logical fallacies and specious arguments make me want to puke. Sorry if it seems like I am picking on you but 1. I think you are > rand, maybe even > even money to be a wolf and 2. you keep pushing my buttons. These two things are probably related.
