This is a really good piece of obv knowledge that I likely wouldn't have learned until I was wolf lynched for doing it. Thx.

I agree, it's never a strategy I would take. At the same time it's a slow game, so people sign up sometimes even if they know 100% they won't be around every other day and such. Slow games don't normally have this many posts day 1 I don't think, I should probably apologize because I know I'm not helping that count. We have a mod who will sub out nonposters I would assume. If you really think that based on a persons 1 or 2 posts that they are a likely wolf based on thinking everyone else is villa it makes sense.

Right?
Not really. There are a number of different ways fast pile ons can happen, and a number of them include villagers coming to the same conclusion at the same time. In this case, you have 4 villagery pros simultaneously voting a very wolfy new player. Based on aks's posting thus far, would you expect any of me, herbie, nut, hoya to not want to vote him at that moment?

Also bussing would be possible here since if say herbie or hoya is a wolf they look really bad by not sponging there.

anyway, since mikey showed up aksdal

*laugh* I guess I'll never forget my first wolf game on 2+2 (farmer giles) we lynched the seer day 1. She made 1 or 2 posts. Her only post about a player was saying she wanted to marry my avatar which looked like a me = villa peek. We picked her as an easy mislynch, but it had a devastating side effect on the village that game. Lesson learned: wolves pick UTR's as easy mislynches, hitting a UTR PR is possible.

I think the quick pile on wolf thing I agree with, but more toward the end of days.

Also...lynching UTR is becoming tricky for me to understand now. It seems pro-villa as UTR > rand a wolf. but also...pushing for a UTR does seem wolfy...

I tend to agree with this usually. I mean it is far too little to base an entire case on, but any data can help push the mind one way or the other (even if just ab it)

UTR's can't make it to end game. They have no idea what's going on. They also give the village no info by lynching them. They are also easy mislynches for wolves. UTR's by default should get policy lynched, or just not sign up for a game they have no intention of playing UTR is a legit wolf strategy as well. But they'll get POE'd, so it's a bad one imo.

wouldnt a wolf pushing for an UTR lynch make it less likely there are UTR wolves, and therefore more likely all the wolves are active? If I were part of a wolf team as a noob, wouldn't I be more likely to be UTR to begin with?

It seems taht the reason ppl think I'm a wolf is because of the contrast of how I played my last game to this one. I've already explained why I've been different and ppl have already agreed that my reason could very likely be valid.

bussing... it's common, UTR's annoy the wolves (teammate who isn't trying) as much as it does the village.

bussing is one wolf pushing another for lynch.

ok, well if ppl are telling me that I'm a turbo lynch d2, then I would be less likely to bus and UTR wolf, right?

Is that what you are trying to do? I would assume, but I don't quite understand your point.

Forgive me if this is something obvious, I think I'm only functioning today thanks to caffeine. Baby girl had a rough night which means I did too.
