blah a game is never completed. You always get new ideas and also there is the variable of player amount to which you have to adapt. You never know how signup goes.
I think if we have a problem with too many mishmashes being offered, there should be a preselection made or something. Not sure how this can be done though. Someone who creates his first mishmash with a relatively unknown theme is easily getting 50% players less than a veteran mod with a popular theme. Imho the latter should receive preference treatment in some way.
We know that if Krayz runs GOT3, CDL runs HP5, I run MtGII, CT runs LOTR or TL runs anniversary, the game will be huge (70+).
Maybe we should have like smaller mishmashes of like 36 players (my first game was 36 players) and have like 2 of those/month and one big. Something like that.
dunno, just blurting out some ideas.
The Homeland Mishmash of 44 players might have difficulty to fill. I like the theme a lot, the show is ****ing brilliant, but I'm not sure if many have watched it. Disko's idea of running the game in SE is not bad, there is a significant player pool in SE that doesn't set a foot in POG
Having said that, I'd like to run Magic the Gathering II somewhere after the holidays, outside the reach of another huge mishmash (GOT?). September/October. I have a smaller mishmash in design as well, but with current traffic I prefer to keep that one on stock.
