Answer: Yes. However, the aliens are not required to kill at night. If a "no lynch" day is followed by a night without a kill, then the "no lynch" option will be removed for the rest of the game.
The lack of fight from the wolves last night and the killing of someone we were on reallly reallly makes me think we are close to the wolves. This is desperation boys! (and girls)
Also notice that all of our "wolves" are relentlessly flinging poo at each other with like 20 posts apeice today.
