This is what I hate about you guys. You make incorrect statements like these just because they don't 100% fit what is occurring in this very specific case.

Sure, he hasn't done it yet. But have you read what he has done on POG? It's clear his pattern of behavior thus far is of a person who doesn't give a **** in the moment about what anyone else thinks- I see no reason why he WOULDN'T attempt to play in a game in which he wasn't welcome.

This isn't Minority Report, he hasn't done that.

As stubborn as many of my mindsets may sound, I never let em get me into trouble either personally or professionally. My life as a whole is very drama free, because I know the necessary steps to take to avoid falling into dramatic situations.

FWIW if I worked a job that I highly valued, and my boss got upset over something very quirky and demanded an apology, I would do so and avoid similar action in the future. I'm not the type of person who's going to refuse to swallow my pride when it's obviously +EV for me to do so.

At the very least I think a new rule is going to exist that you must out gimmicks to forum mods in the case of any kinds of rule issues coming up, and you must out gimmicks to game mods on request

Regardless of whether or not he has actually pretended to be a gimmick and lied to the mod, it is absolutely clear to me that he would and probably will do it again if the opportunity/necessity arises.

I am not trying to ban him because of his future crimes.

I'm amazed more game mods don't ban gimmicks.

He has made some mistakes, but has also been punished for them.

Playing on a gimmick while under suspension should be a bannable offense, but until that happens it's not worth discussing.

As far as I know, he's only been formally "punished" once, and he's been given a fair bit of lenience in other situations.

And I don't see how a punishment should wipe that transgression off the record when considering future rulings either.

My point simply is that this particular thread is redundant.

He has done some very thoughtless self centered things while playing that have affected others who put in a lot of time and effort.

The mods, who are the ultimate arbiter in these circumstances, have dispensed a punishment that he has already finished serving.

New information has come to light that Magic is the numbers Guy that broke WSOWW by not posting at f5.

CPHoya levied his judgement against him for that offense, by banning him from future WSOWW games for some period of time ( I forgot how long).

It should be up to mods discretion if he plays in any future games of theirs, imo.

I personally will think twice before playing a game that he is involved with, I would hate for him to bail midgame. However, I don't think he should be given any additional punishment.

Infractions aside, magic is perhaps the least enjoyable player to play with. Hes the only player that has detracted from my experience in every game I've played with him in. I'm a pretty tolerant guy, but I routinely skip/gloss over his posts because I know it's just not worth it

I swear a thread was made about the Dr. Seuss game after the fact, but for the life of me I can't find it.

For the record, my decision would be:
