In recognition of the fact it's the 50th year of the WSOP I thought why not do a thunderdome about it? After all this is a poker forum.

There are 274 different players who have made the final table of the WSOP Main Event since the beginning in 1970, can you name them all? Usual rules apply - 1 pick per person every 24 hours and 3 wrong answers and you're out - last one standing wins. Weekends will count as 1 day so only 1 pick needed from Saturday 9.30pm (4.30est) to Monday 9.30pm

New entries can join in until Friday night but will have to make up picks, for example if you join in on Wednesday night you will owe 4 picks.

A few other things:

1. The 1970 main event technically wasn't an actual tournament as it was a cash game session with a vote afterwards to pick the winner, the 7 players who took part in this vote do count however
2. The list comes from Wikipedia, I went through every single year and wrote down all the players and then went back and deleted any duplicates, I may have made a mistake but i'm pretty sure I didn't as I treble checked everything but just saying just in case
3. There are a couple of 'unknowns' in the earlier years, nothing I can do about that since there is no other way of finding out their names so only the people on the Wikipedia articles count (shouldn't be an issue really)
4. And of course, no research allowed
5. The winner will receive £20 to a charity of their choice courtesy of myself (I would do more but i'm not rich enough lol let's say 1% of any winnings if I cash the main event next year too?)

Feel free to list the year(s) they made the final table or any other information as you see fit but only the name counts.

No research but I assume following this year's WSOP is OK? I have heard a few names (like Moneymaker) bandied about.

The final hand of 1988 was featured in Rounders (Chan v Seidel)

He also came 4th in 1999

Yeah of course that's fine, i'm watching along that's how I got the idea for this thunderdome lol
