as a group we averaged 3.867 guesses/word over the 18 days (not including removing worst 2), so I imagine the rankings will vary quite a bit from match to match

i mostly enjoy just looking at how other people got there. competition part is secondary.

Yes!! I think it is more about documenting/sharing our individual battles with Wordle than it is competing with each other.

We be each others witnesses to the thrill of victory against the machine, and the agony of defeat....lol
