My wife was admitted to a hospital on Tuesday. We left on Friday with a beautiful baby girl. Pretty sure it's ours.

about 15 hours of labor (contractions), maybe 45 minutes of solid pushing

- yes, I married a woman who has no qualms pushing a baby; tunneled, no less

they kept us for a couple extra days to increase our bill and run a variety of tests on the little one, all of which happily she passed

You will be buried with advice from other parents. I'll give you an advice to: listen to everybody and nod respectfully. Subsequently: do whatever you feel is best for your kiddo, because what the heck do they know.

For example: we gave bottles to our kids right from the fridge. If I have to believe the people, that is a deadly sin. We found it much more convenient than heating milk up in the middle of the ****ing night to the "exact right temperature"
