i've lost quite a bit

Yeah lot of millionaires/billionaires have been acquiring more BTC. But more have been selling obviously. I'm thinking implementing a whale_alert data miner that calculates the difference of transfers in BTC/USDT to exchanges. That might give some indication when the whales are panic selling.

i always think of the old saying "never try to catch a falling knife" about buying stocks on the way down.

but i broke my own rule and felt so clever about buying eth at like 3200 or whatever after dumping it at 3700. wow i was so smart!

and then woke up to 1900 eth lol

i lost about 90k in the last week or so

i would be a lot more hurt if i hadn't made most of that money on crypto this year

also, being a poker player really builds up a tolerance for losing tons of money

That's about 20 times what my wife and me have on the bank

I might be interested in stuffing some 1000€ into some virtual currency for kicks, but my wife will kill me if I lose it (she'll never find out obv) and I have no clue what I have to do to set me up for trading

I've lost previously on the stock market but that was like 20y ago

(BTW we are far from poor, with a normal home, beach apartment and mountain apartment)

thanks ami! im strangely ok about it. i could easily see myself being cripplingly depressed, but i'm ok.

i had a ton of fun making so much money. now it's all gone lol fml. but hopefully it recovers and i'll have more fun on the way back up

at least i wasn't leveraged.
