How do yall pick which pool to stake to?

Generally in PoS chains nodes get randomly picked as a validator, but the nodes with a higher stake have higher probability of getting picked. Then they receive rewards for validating a block. So you'd want to pick a pool among the ones with the highest stakes. In different chains there might be some other considerations. For example Cardano has set up a saturation point, such that if the total stake of the pool exceeds certain limit, then the rewards get reduced. I think the point is at 64 million currently if I remember correctly. Some chains don't seem to have such soft caps so then you could just pick the largest pool. Usually you can easily find estimated ROA % too, so you could just go by that.

I've only pretty limited understanding of how to pick a pool though, housenuts can probably give better tips. He's probably yield farming at Curve or something of the kind.

im still holding btc and eth. cobie on twitter has had some great predictions. he predicted this recent boom and bust, and predicted there will be new all time highs after this bust

my only shitcoin is tezos, and it's down like 50% since i bought it a month or two ago lol

but idk much of anything about any of the coins myself lol

but the smart guys also concede that it might not matter if cardano sucks. if everyone just keeps piling money in... kinda like tesla stock. doesn't matter if it's wildly overvalued if every just keeps buying it

Cardano doesn't suck. It probably has the best technology to make cryptocurrencies work for everyday transactions.
