****!! so i was so tilted watching solana go up and up and up. i thought i'd buy a little back, but just not much. so $5000 worth, but i accidentally bought $50,000 worth! ****!!! lol

so now im sweating it like crazy hoping it goes up just a little so i can sell 45k worth

sold $45k worth and made $33 profit over the fees

Fees are killing me atm and all my stuff is stuck in binanace and British banks aren't letting you deposit more!!! So I'm in this weird space of wanting to put more in but having fear of how to get started or what next step should be.

So Binance did everything FCA required, but they remain "banned" in UK anyways?

You could always try another exchange and transfer your cryptos from Binance to wallets and when you want to sell them you can transfer them to the new exchange.

Yeah it's a nightmare- the banks are refusing to make payments because of their own compliance rules.

I'll probably do that, just gotta find the right one. I want one with the alt coins and that's quick to find new stuff

If it makes you happy then I sold my SOL around EUR 93 (bought around EUR 30).

But I have really small amounts. Put in EUR 2k in May/June. Realized it was bit too much to feel comfortable and took out around 1/3 just before everything went up in August (But it is hard to time market so I am not disappointed). Now I am up like 500 euros (mostly unrealized), but at least I do not worry anymore about movements.

Bought some MINA few days ago which is up since then more than 50%, but took only very small amount (10).

It is fun to play around with small amounts, but I do not have much idea really.

I mostly have ETH/BTC/DOT/LINK and small amounts of KSM/ADA/AAVE/SNX and tiny bet of MINA and GRT.

Algorand's founder is Silvio Micali, computer science professor at MIT who has received a Turing award for his work in cryptography. That already puts them ahead of many other blockchain developers in terms of credibility. They are pretty capable in building a secure blockchain. They're using something called Pure Proof-of-Stake (PPoS) algorithm, which they developed. I haven't looked into how it differs from PoS.
