No problem. Other thing I remembered is that signatures can be distracting. So I would recommend to turn those off, this one is also at General Settings, but this time at Thread Display Options > Visible Post Elements.

You can change the skin at the bottom of each page. It's advised to do it this way for some technical reasons that I don't quite remember.

We get tons of players from there and Thingyman is basically a hero.
I would say MU/DM helped keep games getting numbers on the few year hiatus before the hpx game brought back some of the players who were on their long break

Oh, I never noticed this. Thanks. I wonder what those technical reasons might be. I tried to search something about it in their forum, but couldn't find anything. I also didn't notice any immediate differences in changing the skin one way or another. But it is definitely much easier to change it in the bottom of the page.

I searched for the answer because I was annoyed at not being able to remember. Apparently if you change it through the control panel then one of the secondary text colors doesn't update, which makes some pages unreadable if you're using one of the dark themes.

Think it's only a person's profile that get screwed up. And Mak didn't want to figure out how to fix it.

Do you really think I was the 4th most problematic poster?

I'd personally like a ruling on whether this would be considered a suicide joke or not. Probably not since I claimed I'd come back-- although certainly I would actually die here.
[This was in context to the "If I'm a wolf I'll quit POG/do whatever discussion.] But should ridiculous posts like "if I'm a wolf I'll do something that causes me to die" be banned or does context matter in this case?
Like clearly I am joking about doing impossible things that flirt with death.

I thought the “if I’m ... I’ll do ...” statements were banned?

Not if I'm modding. Context and intent matter for me, like I said in that post.
That post wasn't made in a game but rather a post game discussion, but I could so easily see there being some suicide gray area stuff that comes up in the future. A lot more than this stuff with Wiggles.

Wasn’t it something like that that ended up getting Xander mk’d by you? I might be misremembering.

I am not sure who you are asking for a ruling from. But I just don't understand the reason you would ever need to post this.

Like this probably wouldn't result in anything more than a PM or maybe not even that but its annoying stuff like this that ends up making rules OP be super long.

I mod-killed Xander because he said if he were a wolf he'd quit pog.
My point in that post was saying that content still matters in that spot.

i feel like you are not an experienced mod, Dustin. Or maybe just not thinking through exactly how it would go. Modding a werewolf game is a lot like officiating a basketball or football game--which I do a lot of.

There is a lot that goes into making sure you remain consistent and how certain judgement calls now will affect the rest of the game.

If someone says something kind of mean to mets then he says something even meaner back, and then I step in and say "hey mets man please don't do that" 100% he will be like "but so and so was mean to me first". But what if the thing that someone said to mets wasn't REALLY that mean? What if you let it go because it was right on the line?

What if you say that bullshit about going to the sun and coming back and then Mcavoy says he will go get a job at mcdonalds if he is a wolf. What if he says that that it was obvious he was just joking just like yours was an obvious joke? What if the next person says they will change their avatar to something they don't like. And claim THAT was an obvious joke? Where does it end?

I am not making a slippery slope argument, I am just explaining that you will have to draw the line somewhere and wherever you draw it know that someone is going to get upset and feel that you drew it in a bad spot.

personally I just find it easier to draw the line early on before things spin out of control

but your mileage may vary
