This is known in game theory as the focal point effect. No one wants to be lynched. So everyone wants to pick someone other than himself. But you all need to pick the same person and it doesn't really matter who, so whoever sort of stands out (as I did here by posting in the thread a bunch) becomes the focal point and everyone picks him.

I was aware that by posting in this thread so much I was in danger of getting lynched. However, I was willing to do that (rather than just laying low and hoping everyone forgot about me) because there is a relevant fact that I had been waiting until the day to reveal, and this fact should ensure I stay alive as long as you guys are halfway rational: I am the angel. (Last night, I chose to protect myself, which is why I wasn't worried about attracting werewolf attention).

The deal I am willing to offer is this: If you guys don't lynch me now, then I will sometimes use my angel powers to protect the other villagers. I can't do that every night because then the werewolves will just kill me knowing I am the angel and they want me gone, so I will protect myself fairly often so they have a disincentive to try to kill me (since it will likely just be wasted), but I will also use my powers to protect others at random; however, I will certainly not do this for anyone who tries to lynch me.

Anyway, zephed has not posted at all in this thread which I find very suspicious. We need to lynch him. If I am lying about being the angel, that will be obvious in time and you can feel free to lynch me then. For now, the right play is for us all to get zephed.

EDIT: Btw, there is a good argument here for non-werewolves to be able to use PM for private negotiations. I would like to be able to offer someone angel protection in exchange for not being lynched, but if I make deals in this thread, the werewolves will know who is protected and that I'm not protecting myself so they will kill me, or at the least won't kill the protectee which is a waste of my powers.

I think bobbyi is not truthful. I think his anxiousness to start posting cost him this first lynching. He knows that if he doesnt go from us today, that the wolves will get him tonight.

So he is guaranteed to go now. If we send someone other than bobbyi, then we might lynch the real angel.

Again - Bobbyi knows that his only chance is to claim angel, which only really gets him til tonight. Cuz if we dont lynch bobbyi, and we get someone else, then the wolves get a free villager.

(That said, if we get someone else AND bobbyi ISN'T killed by wolves, he is dead by us the next day because we know he is a wolf.

If he is really the angel then he has nothing to worry about. Better to lynch the angel and be wrong when he saves himself than to lynch an innocent villager and only find out after he's dead. I got the rope. Cast your votes lets find a tree.

All of this logic is very poor, which leads me to believe you either suck at logic, or you're just trying to avoid a lynching. I don't think it's the former.

correct. the angel can only use protection during the night phase. they can not save themselves from being lynched during the day.

Why would the wolves kill the villager who is most likely to get himself lynched anyway? Further, they know I will use my angel powers on myself again tonight, so it would be a waste for them to go after me.

I'm asking for one day here. One of you is the seer and can verify tonight that I am the angel. Until then, we kill zephed.

is only one more vote required? becuase all remaining votes would have to be for someone with 1 vote who isnt bobbyi for bobbyi to survive.

Although I'm not playing in this game, I'd just to say that I think bobbyi makes a valid argument.

The whole statement by bobbyi seems very farfetched... he muste either be the wolf or not the wolf, lets get him 50/50

if bobbyi is the angel, it doesn't really matter if we lynch him today or let him live. the angel is only worthwhile when undercover and the seer is in the open. bobbyi isn't undercover anymore, so screw him. we're pretty much just picking randomly at this point, so we're like 1 in 5 to get a werewolf by chance. i think the chance bobbyi is a werewolf is higher than 1 in 5, so i think we should lynch him. everyone who votes after we have a clear majority for bobbyi should vote for someone who has zero votes though, so the seer can id a werewolf with minimal danger of outing himself. do not vote for someone who already has a vote, even if you're the seer and you want to out a werewolf. 2 votes for one person is a dead giveaway one of the voters is the seer. it's not worth trading the seer for a werewolf at this point. we can narrow down the possible werewolves pretty quick this way.

Im willing to admit to a mis-read here, Bobbyi, but what I can't reconcile is that you claimed that you Angel-ed yourself, when the rules sent to you MUST have said you can only save yourself from wolves at night.

So when you said you Angel-ed yourself from lynching, did you read the rules wrong or were you simply going all in and praying noone would call?

Like I said, Im willing to be wrong, but I dont thinks so... you offered your role pretty early... but try to talk me out of it again.
