yes, we are going by simple majority for this game.
if no player has over 50% of the votes, the village would have to revote until they have come to a decision.

I played mafia once, so I understand some strategy, but I don't remember all the rules.

Which one is more certain to be a wolf. jba or Andrew. That is the one we should vote out now.
Not sure, I'd put between 60-70% chance for both of them. I'm sticking with jba for now, but I'm not against changing if someone makes a good argument for it.
check out my earlier link! I think it's conclusive.
I'm not even sure if it matters. It's going to be either you or Andrew today. If it's you and you're a wolf, Andrew is definitely next, no matter what happens at night. If you're not a wolf, we'll take out Andrew anyway since he's been incredibly suspicious. If we change our vote to Andrew same thing applies to you. In fact, you're both set so solidly as the next 2 lynching victims I don't even think the seer should waste his time with these 2 guys, since speaking up will only get him killed along with them.
There is a VERY simple reason why D10 would not want the seer to look into my soul. If he is a wolf, he knows I am a villager, and wants to have us continue lynching villagers.

I am all for the seer looking to see who I am. Note, angel SHOULD NOT protect me, as I am a simple villager and it is well worth sacrificing me prevent the seer / angel from being eaten. I consider every villager eaten a slight victory for us (the villagers) because I think without the seer / angel combination we stand little to no chance.
But if we lynch jba tonight, and the seer sees you're actually innocent, there's nothing we can do with that info because 1) we won't know what the seer saw without him informing us and 2) we don't know that the person who claims to be the seer is actually the seer, since we have no valid targets from him yet.

Re: WEREWOLF 1

well nation, why are u freaking out about killing a villager on day 2? u should know that it's no big deal and is expected

we can miss wolves the first 6 days and still win if we are perfect after that...hopefully our logic will work or we'll get lucky or the seer will see a wolf before then so we don't have to get lucky, but a day 2 bad lynching is EXPECTED and nothing to go chicken little about

I find it interesting that the early Bobby lynchers are not voting to lynch jba.

yeah they probably feel bad for burning an innocent man at the stake and don't want to rush to judgement so quickly this time?

gorie (question)

if the angel protects someone who the wolves target, which player(s) will know that fact? will we all know that someone was saved but we won't know who? or will we be told "the wolves attempted to kill xxx, but he was saved by the angel"?

oh, so u are saying it's not 'most votes is dead' it's actually 'whomever has 51%+ of the votes is dead'?

this may be a problem when we get down to less players and end up with some long stalemates...i've only seen games where most votes is gone, with first person to vote differently after a tie to break the tie one way or another...but never a full 51+% needed

I'm not freaking out, I was just putting it out there. Like I said, I understand strategy, but not completely. I've only played it once, maybe twice.

Re: WEREWOLF 1

I want to throw out another line of thinking. The person with the strangest activity so far has been Sightless. He started voting for himself and then this time voted for someone who has been most vocal during the daytime.

Lynch Sightless

PS: Sightless, is that a Polish eagle as your avatar?

Or thye don't want to lynch one of their own? It is a dilemma.

jba, you may be the last innocent sacrificed or the first wolf. I am not sure which I think it is though.

Re: WEREWOLF 1

macdaddy just made the list of likely werewolves. he's posted twice so far - once, saying "this game is awesome so far" while we were all lynching bobby pre-daytime. he never voted although he was online during the voting time (see his two sports forum posts). then he comes in and out of the blue suggests an almost completely random name for a wolf.

odd behavior, put him on the list to watch, especially if the jba>nation>andrew thing falls through

I can't believe this has been the first mention of side action on this game.

Re: WEREWOLF 1

Yar, we should put you on the lynch list, [censored]. What about the people who haven't voted, ever? I think it's stupid to even consider voting for people who are very active like 4_2 and jba. Maybe Sightless is a werewolf and you're one of his compadres?

I think the seer should "see" jba tonight and we should lynch Sightless. He's had the strangest behavior so far.

Also, if I were a werewolf, wouldn't I have WANTED to vote bobbyi dead? Your logic doesn't make sense. Just because I did't go with the mob mentality (which got a villager lynched, by the way) doesn't make me a wolf. If he were the angel, you guys would have all [censored] yourself over.

I have a feeling this could provide a lot of fun for us degenerate gamblers.

read my posts, i already put myself on the watch list if the jba>nation>andrew thing fell through, because of how vocal i am in support of that theory.

also, it was pretty clear that bobby was gone, so wolves would be likely to sit out and not vote for him, trying to stay incognito (especially later on when only a couple of votes were needed to push him out)
