Any interest in another tourney?

For those that haven't played before, it's really easy and only requires you to check in once or twice a day. You can get an idea of how it's played here.

We can work out the details later, but I think it works best with teams of 4. Probably also a 3ish word limit.

I was thinking of allowing both pictures and gifs, but I think we still need words as an option because some spectrums just don't work with pics.

Looks like we're running with 4 teams of 3. I'll rand teams and put up game threads tomorrow.

Proposed rules:

- 36h time limit for guessing the number, and 24h for higher/lower (after that, the last number mentioned will be your guess)
- 3 word limit, with the exception of proper nouns (eg Raiders of the Lost Ark would be an acceptable clue)
- Pictures and gifs are allowed
- No numbers allowed in any clue
- If an illegal clue is given, the cluegiver will pick a new spectrum and get a re-randed number

Point scoring:

4 points for correct number
3 points for 1 away
2 points for 2 away
1 point for correct higher/lower

Thought/objections? Did I forget anything?

I'd say it's worth considering dropping 2 away down to 1 point. It's really not that impressive an accomplishment.

I would think if someone gives an illegal clue the other team should pick the replacement spectrum but idrgaf.

Maybe, but I think the lower word limit has made it significantly harder than it used to be. When we had the ability to use modifiers, then yeah, it really wasn't worth ****.

Game threads are up and PMs sent. After round 1, teams can be responsible for creating their own threads. Also, someone from each game should update this thread with scores after the round is over.
