This is definitely mild

I know acne can affect people quite severely but it isn't really going to harm someone outside of having spots.

Its not harmful but I feel there's gotta be some conditions that might not have such an effect on someone's life.

I'm thinking 3-5

Yeah, and unlike a lot of diseases, it can last for years. And even then you're usually left with scarring. I'd much rather be really sick for a few days than suffer from acne, but I'm not sure if ibd is even thinking about that?

Still, it's at least gotta be worse than a common cold/gingivitis/halitosis/etc.

5 a good guess...I think I'm more on higher...could see this being 6 or 7. Could be 4 but 3 is getting too low imo, we have stuff like runny noses or sniffles or something. Sneezing from allergies? This is def on low side but even 4 seems a tad low, this can be pretty annoying

I looked up acne before posting it. Seems to be categorized as a skin disease. I don’t think I’d consider “runny nose” or “sniffles” a legal clue.
