Yeah I think we gotta go higher

I don’t know what number I would guess, but it’s pretty heavy and 16 is middle of heavy range and this is heavier than middle of that range

I guess 17 for posterity

So that’s 3 for higher so far

This spectrum was surprisingly tough, and I definitely interpreted it differently than most people

I wasn't going by seriousness of topic per se but how likely it would be to have a casual conversation about it

Like, to me, 21 would be "processing grief after the suicide of a loved one" or something like that, since any conversation about that is necessarily super heavy, as opposed to a thing people would be likely to bring up casually

Which is why it was probably good in retrospect that I had to rerand the first time

Anyone want to take a guess on what number I had for COVID?

My logic was something like:

It's all everyone talks about these days; it's as inevitable a part of most small talk as "how's the weather?"

Everyone talks about it casually all the time

But at the same time, it's obviously a serious subject, and the topic of much heavy discussion as well

yeah, 12 makes sense for covid

the spectrum isn't light subject - heavy subject or unimportant - important

it's small talk - heavy talk

covid talk is basically small talk right now, so it could even go a little lower, but it's a heavy subject so i like it slightly on the heavy side

but nobody sits around talking about the second spectrum, so i'm a little shocked the same person thought covid was 12 for that reason but that this was only a 15
