in the other one, there was no schedule other than a deadline; people just revealed when ready, usually giving the thread a few hours' notice so folks could rail

as for the order that answers are revealed, there are two good ways to do it iyam.

the first and most popular way is to go in reverse order, from worst to best (check out the other thread for examples of this). so with this method, you'd start with 19th place, then 18th, and so forth. usually, when you get down to the top five, you'll list all the participants in alphabetical order to hype it up before continuing the reveal, and then again for the podium.

the second way to do it, which i've seen before and also like, is to go in reverse order EXCEPT that you don't reveal the bottom three until the end, at which point you alternate revealing the bottom three with the top three. that way you're revealing the podium and the nodium at the same time for added suspense. with this format, you'd start with 16th place, then 15th, and so on, until you've revealed 4th place. then you would list the six players who comprise the top and bottom three, and reveal in the following order: 17th, 3rd, 18th, 2nd, 19th, 1st. with appropriate commentary for each.

which of these formats you choose is up to you

As long as the actual recording on spotify or whatever is less than 3 minutes, that's fine. I'll allow exactly 3 minutes, but don't push it.

Did I see a category somewhere of "best solo that isn't a guitar"? Was it a grab bag? Did someone suggest it and then drop out? I'm finalizing my list and now I don't see that category anywhere and I'm kinda sad.
