No. These are due on Feb 3rd. True North is going on vacation, so instead of sending your rankings to him, send them to me. But I need to send my list to him first, before I can receive any rankings.

My list to him is due by Friday. And the soonest you can send your list to me is on Saturday.

I am surprised at my category song submissions. There are 4 or 5 fairly obvious artists that I thought would populate the list and none of them showed up ( 1 almost did). Should make for an interesting reveal

Did notes/comments not make it to the judges? One of my favorite parts about submissions is reading the context behind why people selected the song they did.

I'll go ahead and answer this one. TN sent me a note asking about this because one or more entrants included extra information along the lines of "this is why I chose the song and why it's so amazing." We both decided it would be an unfair advantage and TN deleted that before passing the choices along to the judges.

Before I name the theme song I was so hyped about and ended up passing on, as well as a bunch of other theme songs I almost chose I want to check in here. Should I just hold off until after the reveals before I list songs I didn't choose?

Well I feel like on certain categories some of my 2nd choices might give away which song I ended up with on my first choice. But for this particular category, it's so diverse that I don't see how it matters. I'll still respect the group and hold off in case anyone thinks it should be revealed afterward.

Could run the risk of posting songs that were submitted by others, which lets the judge know it wasn’t you. We should be judging songs not entrants, so I don’t mind. But some might object. I’ll probably wait for the reveal before posting any alts I decided against.

I will probably have my list submitted pretty early - already have the top and bottom of my list pretty much locked-in, just working out the middle parts.

I guess just wait until I submit to you to post stuff like that - I won't give away any spoilers about placing if you post a theme song that someone else submitted.

I have a light day at work and plan to skip three of the four meetings on my calendar. Might be ready to reveal as early as today. Is that permissible, or do I need to wait? I guess I’m not sure why we’re submitting everything to bolt. Is he running the reveal for all cats, just with our rankings and write ups? Sorry, haven’t done a grab bag walrus before.

On Saturday or after you can PM me your rankings and I'll send you your own list back with the entrants names next to the songs. That way when you do your reveal you can list the POGger along with the write-up and the video.

TN has all the lists but is too busy to send us back the results if you send to him

He will also be leaving Saturday for a few weeks, so bolt will send his rankings to TN by Friday and TN will then send the entire sheet to bolt on Saturday and then we can all send to bolt who will give us back the info we need.

So go ahead and rank, but wait until Saturday after bolt posts to send to him.

So we should expect some good revealing over the weekend given the people already close to being done.

I'm surprised and very happy that people are so engaged in the ranking and reveals. I'm pushing myself to do my rankings but probably won't have my write-ups ready for at least a week or two after. Especially since I need to do a bunch of write-ups for GrabBag as well.
