Generic and repetitive. Wish I could tell what the nonsensical lyrics actually were instead of him just making noises. The backing track is kinda cool at times, which saves this from being even lower in the garbage pile.
Not quite my style. Does some cool things with the production but overall wasn't really something I could get into. Too experimental for its own good, I think.
The last portion of this song is like a 6 or 7. Too bad the first 70% is a 4. Snoozefest up until then. The harmony isn't nearly enough to retain attention.
The intro is by far the best part. Rest of the song is a bit too #Edgy for me. Some really cool stuff going on with the violin though - it carries the song easily.
Not my favorite SoaD song, but it's not bad. A bit too heavy for me, if anything. I prefer their songs that have more melodic vocals. But there's some nice crunchy guitar in this and I dig the chorus.
Not exciting, but quite pleasant. Love his voice. I should probably listen to this band more, they're just perpetually at the very edge of my awareness.
The male vocalist is super weird, but he grew on me much more than I thought he would. And of course, Bjork's part is great. Weird track, but in a good way.
One of the stranger Boingo tracks I've heard, but not in a bad way. Still dig this band's hyper-80s sound. Strong all around on the instrumental. Not a huge fan of some of the weirder parts, but the song's strong enough to move past it.
Was almost certain that this was going to be ska. Dunno if the fact that it isn't is a good thing or not. It's a good track though. The saxophone is hella cool, and the guitar is very solid as well.
My dad rock is showing. Weezer is pretty great. This isn't my favorite song by them, but it's a good one, and plenty nonsensical for this category. The chorus carries.
I promise I don't hate every rap song! The mood of this track is great, the flow is great, and the hook is great. Strong track - as to be expected of Gorillaz.
Just some super solid indie rock. Really dig the little guitar riff, the vocals fit perfectly, and I actually really enjoyed the lyrics for some reason - even if I have no idea what the intent is. Great pick.
