The vocals are pretty weird, but they've grown on me. The instrumental, meanwhile, is just really damn cool - bouncy and infectious. Song has this dark, sort of off-kilter atmosphere that I really like.
The best song by one of my favorite power metal bands? Yes, please. Addictively soaring track, great opening riff, great recurring riff, overall strong power metal. Maybe a little cheesy but that's the genre in general and it certainly isn't gonna cost it points.
Another accidental pander - I actually first found this song because I'm a fan of the music video's animator, lol. There's some really cool lowkey instrumentality to this song and I love how understated it is - the guitar is doing some solid work without being crazy flashy about it. I also like this style of vocals a lot, so that helps. Great song.
Pleasingly funky bassline, excellently smooth vocals, just a super awesome funky groove that I really enjoy. Gonna look into this artist because I need more funk in my life.
This style of song is right up my alley. The energy coming from this, especially from the guitar, is excellent. If I can nitpick anything, the vocals could be a little better? But overall this song is excellent. The solo at the end, in particular, is fantastic.
K so first of all, Radio Birdman is an excellent name for a band.
Secondly, take everything I said about Priptonite's song and add .1 points to that. These two songs were INCREDIBLY close for similar reasons, and I flip-flopped tons of times on which I wanted to win. In the end, this one got the nod. Both of you should feel excellent about yourselves.
