He's saying that as you are quite likely to be a villager it'd be nice if you were more proactive because people know that your reads most likely come from a villagery place

like right now it really just looks you're mostly responding to what others say about you (this is true of what I've read on day 1 as well, your posts are almost entirely directed at people who talk about you) rather than having a slightly more open perspective on the game

like, I fully expect villa WN to at least talk about vix's other posts and what it means for others when at least 50% of the discussion to this point was about vix and 'trapping' and stuff.

This is a super easy read for WN to make in isolation of everything else which makes it wolfy. What I mean by that is if you just read the post you can see it follows a logical progression, and on the surface it's villagery. But then looking at what he didn't say, and we can see all of vix's posts he didn't talk about, the lack of enthusiasm in supposedly catching a wolf, the way it doesn't relate to anything else, etc.

I quoted some other posts but they were mostly WN being wolfy. Rebonk was a little wolfy too.

Yeah, Well named started very very wolfy. I would have happily lynched him early doors. But I dunno, he did get more villagey and mets was pretty convinced he was a villager.

there is something important about p1. I couldn't point out especifically what it was before but now re-reading again I can. anarchist is taking a reactive rather than a proactive line on the first few posts. I think he continues to be mostly reactive throughout d1 (responding to accusations and pushing peope back rather than actually wolfhunting), but I need to check meta to see how much of that reactive approach is actually wolfy for annie.

I don't think it means much of anything. I think he has a fairly warped view in either role re: how villagery and clear he is.

so reactive vs proactive as how annie behaves early in games. here he took a reactive line, pushed vix/rebonk back for saying he is wolfy, appeared a bit uncomfortable calling people wolfy for other reasons that aren't especifically pushing him etc.

all right so:

gimmicks and whiners: proactive approach. villager.
captain beaky: not a proactive approach. seems to be making villa reads but no wolf reads. no one was pushing him when he entered the thread on p1 as well. wolf.
college football: reactive, kinda weird start as well. it's fair to say he sounded a bit desperate to appear villager in beaky and college football. not the case here. anyway wolf too, not a proactive behaviour... not really reactive though, just plain weird.
world series of WW: definitely proactive here, taking a hard stance on an already wagoned player, trying to make him get lynched etc. wolf there, but making my theory inconclusive/garbage.

I do find it weird that annie didn't take a more wholly approach earlier. I think as a villager he is always proactive or at least that's how I perceive him from our last games together.

and this was before the LKJ counterwagon started forming. I said it quite a lot but I'll say it again: the LKJ wagon was not really bad and it's not wolfy to vote him d1. I had a personal meta with him that stated very very clearly he was an obvious villager and even I was unwilling to try saving him there.

well didn't chilltown already know this? this is page 14 in response to vix saying he was intentionally spazzing out... for the 10th time. I'm pretty sure that doesn't mean much but for chill to be suddenly surprised that vix was doing that on purpose is weird since a lot of pages were mostly about that.

this looks very ignorant as in not knowing the roles, therefore it's pretty villagery and I'm hardclearing chilltown again.

I'm using my own old reads to strengthen my current reads because I'm getting kinda lazy.

good morning. So I have to work today, which I figured would afford plenty of time to also work on this, but some stuff has come up and I don't really think I can spend much time here. I realize this means I'm going to be the de facto lynch and I really really really hate that, and I'll try to squeeze some re-reading in and be useful, but I don't know what's going to happen. But basically job > ww. There's not much I can do about it, I mean I already knew I was working today :P

I'm going to vote monkey banana for now because

a) I feel like even though by POE annie should be a wolf skimming some of his posts he seems similar tone wise to his last villa game. He always owns me, but it just doesn't feel right to vote him

b) rebonk has done some stuff also that seems like it would be hard to do as a wolf. Probably between the two of them there has to be a wolf because there's so many clear people but MB has bugged me all game and it just feels better to vote him :P

I realize this probably is going nowhere and I'm getitng lynched but I'll try to actually make some kind of case later if I get ahead of work.
