also hardcore just has a village game that I'm really really skeptical anyone could ever replicate as a wolf. It would be just about impossible

I haven't randed wolf much lately. I've been peeked n0 or n1 in all of my wolf games in that past 6 months....with the exception of SRM's WOAT game in SE, but that doesn't really count since we won after day 2.

i agree that hardcore is non-maybe villager. he has been in most of my vanilla games and i feel more confident reading him than anyone else in this lineup. he has wolfed twice against me afaik, one long game one turbo, and i found him both times.

I spent like 3 posts telling you to think before you post. My first post included a plea for you to NOT RESPOND to it because I knew it would take up space. So now, after you felt the need to engage in the discussion, you're giving me **** for not posting enough content?

How do you explain it? It's the phrasing of the posts, it's the kinds of things he's talking about and the timing of them? They fit and flow and don't seem forced and kind of have feeling behind them. Not like touchy feely feeling but like genuine unscripted reaction. That's what I meant by "emotion"

Like with the bit about hardcore being a good villager or chill being an egotist. It's subtle stuff, and I don't even know if I should be defending him because it's thin and traditionally I don't read monte well, I just basically POE + lolsubspew + nofear'd him in the last game

But when I read those posts they seem less afraid to post than his posts in the cookie game felt. Could obviously be the difference in circumstances too, but meh I gotta go with the gut. It worked last game :P

Like half the posts WN quoted were of Monte criticizing me for being heroic. I think WN just finds those posts to be agreeable to him or something.

Honestly I'm sort of ambivalent on Monte. This seems like almost every single other game for him, and most of his games were villager except for one. The only game that ever stood out to me for him being hyper-emotional/aggressive, he was a villager (and I vigged him for pinging me as being way different than usual; oops). He has shown spurts of emotion in either role, but it's true that it's more often a villagery thing.

Again though, WN quoted a bunch of nothing so that tell doesn't much at the moment anyway. I still prefer Xkf or vix as lynches.

Basically I feel the same way about monte as I did about shark last game.

I feel his bit about hardcore's game is the exact thing wolves will post about to avoid using their time on more relevant matters. I don't see his posts as remotely unafraid. If he was unafraid, he'd be more willing to divulge his reads on a wider variety of players. He has like 70 posts and such a low % are actual reads on other players.

As far as I can tell you are agreeing with me in this post.
