I've been reading dwetzel as a villager for most of the game, and I feel like we mindmelded on more than one thing irt crunkus. I can't see him flipping anything but villager this game
Marvel I'll be honest I only townread him because many of my other villagers were also townreading him/calling him pretty obvious. I tried to start a dialogue with him to sort of get a better handle on how his game is and tbh I'd like to read a couple of his other games if he wouldn't mind posting them and I'd probably have a nice base of his gameplay to be able to better grasp a read on him
I haven't much gotten a grasp on Athexx's game either, and again part of that is because I don't have any idea of how to start reading him. A few tonal queues here and there and willingness to cooperate with me when I engaged him gave me a slight villager read but I'd just feel more comfortable with more meta. I guess it would take more than a little bit to get me to lynch him
I've had phel as a villager for more than one reason, a few posts come to mind like the post where he said "I don't think there's ever been a game of Athexx's where he read me wrong and wasn't evil," and "Hey I resemble this post!" That rang true for me and I think I can characterize his meta as "the limp wet noodle." This type of player takes a slightly more lackadaisical approach to the game as opposed to an aggressive one, posts reads and questions when necessary and relies much more on tone and gut feels than actual reads or information. If I had to characterize him most closely to a player you might recognize it would be fnord_too. I recall in one game I played with fnord I jumped down his throat for his lack of aggression and only later came to realize he just wasn't the type of player to dole that out. I sense a similar style coming from him, so I have him at a relatively strong villager read.
As I posted this I came to realize that I keep falling to the classic curse of monstrman where I probably have too many villagers and one of them is probably a wolf but I really don't want to travel down the road of "who did I misclear" because it's exhausting and I have a good chance of being wrong right now. I think looking for the deep wolves at this time would probably just lead the village to ruin, to be honest.
