I think logging out and logging back in makes the score disappear.
The DC scores show up on the daily leaderboard as 'Hidden' if you play early enough. They go away when the system updates the results from previous day.

That is pretty ridiculous! Also, you won by more than 11k yesterday, must be a new record!

What OS/browser are you using? I'm wondering if those might have something to do with the bug, since I haven't personally seen the 'undo bug' at all. I'm using Windows and Firefox.

Yeah I had to undo yesterday during the DC and had no problems. Mac/Firefox here.

Sick run, Gabe!

Nice freaking puzzle by poopy where it starts in round 9. LOL wtf?

For me. I threw away a DC win once in rack 9.

I use SRware Iron (Chrome clone with built in ad-block) and no problems with Undo

These puzzles will be the death of me. Finally was able to get TH10's score on the 12 angry men one. I will go into depression if anyone can beat this score. Another one I never would have thought was possible if it weren't for TH10's already posted score.

Oh and I fired up a chrome browser to go along with my firefox browser, and I did get the undo bug with chrome. (this time on a linux machine)

Don't see how it would be possible to beat that score. Most of those 'Too many 1s' -puzzles are pretty nice, I think you still have a lot of those in that series to play. As well as some other pretty challenging puzzles. Of the newer ones, 'Egestas' tilted me a lot the first time I tried it, there surely must be a way to score more in that.

Yeah I don't think that a better score is possible, but there have been other puzzles where I thought that too and it turned out that there was a better score. But this one in particular seems that it has to be the nuts.

Yeah this could be fun, although I'm not totally sure what the teams would look like. You are UK right? How many players are there that are non-US and non-UK? I know Gabe and Derwipok are. I think Radisto was when he was still playing.

I'm not UK, as should be clear from my terrible English.

At least me, Gaby, Derwi, Treep, Latt and Anton are non-US, non-UK, don't know about others, but I would guess there are more. Not sure how big the teams would be, but I'd guess six should probably be enough, if all are interested.

LOL. You write close to perfectly. At least much better than most English people I know, a lot of whom don't seem to understand basic grammar/spelling.

Is anyone actually UK apart from me? Maybe Popcorn? And Zac if he feels like it (but probably not). I think the team of TH, Gaby and Derwi crushes the top three spots unless it's US and UK vs. rest of world.

USA top three of Alex, krohn, and Dynasty (I think he is USA) is pretty good IMO. Not as strong at the very top but some solid depth.

I thought Zac was USA too?

Donk is from the UK. I think kokiri is too?

I think ibavly, Kokirixx, Donk4, bozzer, and currently Zac and Sugartastic.

I hadn't really thought about how the teams would look like, just mentioned one possibility. Originally I thought about just making it like Ryder Cup, US against Europe. But I figured there might not be enough US players for that. My mistake was thinking of current locations though, so with moving Zac and Sugar from UK to US, there should be enough US players. Also it is probably better to have two teams instead of three. Imo two teams would need more than 6 players though, so US&UK against rest of the World probably won't work because there wouldn't be enough players for rotW. So I guess it should be USA or North America against either Europe or rest of the World, or Europe against rest of the World. Whichever of these would give us two teams with the same number of players for both teams, and hopefully two about evenly matched teams too.

Maybe keeping the format and scoring simple would be the best, and it could for example work like this: 12 players in each team, each player plays one best of X (probably something around 7-10) singles match against a player from another team, winner of each match gets 1 point for their team, or both players get 0.5 points in case of a draw if we want to include draws. Then two rounds of matches in pairs, where in each game the better score of the pair counts for the team, otherwise the matches would be the same as singles matches. There would be a total of 24 (12+6+6) matches like this, team with higher score wins. This format would obviously work for any even amount of players, so it doesn't have to be 12 if more people are interested, maybe need to add more rounds of matches if there are 8 or less players in each team though. Singles matches should probably have a random draw, first round of pairs too, then maybe the team that is behind in scores could be given the power to decide the match-ups for last round. Maybe give something like 5-7 days to play a round of matches, would take around 2-3 weeks total like that. How does this sound?

Another way to count the scores would be giving points for all games won, and maybe extra points for winning matches.

Iirc the locations correctly, and I'm only listing the players, whose locations I think I remember. And assuming players are interested, the teams could look something like this:
TH10
Paul101
Gaby
Derwi
ibavly
anton-09
Kokirixx
Latt
Treep
Donk4
bozzer

AGAINST

Dynasty
krohn
bingobango
Popcorn
Zac
Alex
DIonized
mrgibson
dogfloss
Sugartastic
velourfog

How do these look like?

Now that I think about it, I actually never saw the Timed average previously, it was only mentioned to be under 25k when someone asked tips in the TC home page chat, no idea what it was exactly, so can't compare.

My Daily average has only improved by 85 points, which is disappointing, expected more. I guess I haven't learned anything over time after all.

All others have improved their Daily averages by at least 214 points, Gaby the most (448).

Interestingly Alex's Timed average is 1k+ points more than Daily average, which is quite a lot imo, and seems really weird to me. Can't really think of any reasonable explanation for that.

The TC home page looks pretty strange atm:

Any stats you guys would like to see on the front page? I have a little room to work with now that I got rid of that annoying ad.

Here are some possibilities (ignore the numbers, they'd be lower obviously) Some of these clearly belong buried on a leaderboard, but just figured I'd dump all of them, maybe spark some ideas:

Also any stat that's already on a leaderboard would be very easy to add, so feel free to suggest any of those.

Site-wide
Games played today/week/month
Games played broken down by type
Puzzles created/solved

Daily Challenges
# biggest margins of victory in DC history (link to challenge)
# most first place ties (link to challenge)
# lowest winning score
# lowest average score
# highest winning score
# highest average score

Players
# Top 100 win %***
# Top 100 played %***
# Top 100 total games played
# Top 10 games/day*
# Top 10 most games in 24 hours***
# Top 10 most games in a row***
# Top 10 fastest games***
# Top 10 timed mode rivals***
longest challenge played streak

Also if you have any gripes or suggestions, now is your (very small) window to throw them out while I've got the TC code open.

The yesterday's winner and Daily wins on the Homepage is a really good idea. Of the other ones you've suggested, I think fastest games could be a fun one to have. Puzzles solved could be good too. Also, average score from each player's last 100 Daily Challenges.

Could we have the "Home" tab at the top back? It's annoying to have to re-enter the web address.

Finally, my hopes are low, but maybe increase the minimum rating deviation to 7.5? At least for Timed.

Cheers.

Edit: I've clearly missed the window.
