i think they only way to beat the winning score yesterday was by playing an outer chain of 4s, I think snaaaaakes was possible that way. It was a very anti intuitive setup given the two 6s in rack 1.

I drifted off and made the worst, most idiotic mistake today, meaning I'm currently right down the bottom instead of right at the top. Could not be more moronic.

Not quite right at the bottom, some of us managed to do even worse.

It seems that every challenge recently, I make a bad move near the beginning and the future rolls manage to be the exact worse rolls that they could be for my early decisions. I am not playing well but every mistake I make is getting punished at the moment.

I mechanically screwed up today´s DC. I misplaced a die from rack 3 and noticed that rack 4. Under the right circumstances it could have been brilliant, but rack 5&6 quickly showed that it was a trainwreck and I was so tilted I clicked away the challenge at rack 6.

I feel like I shouldn't say this, but - no. If you don't finish the game, the score doesn't register and it acts like you haven't played. Just like if you don't finish the game in Timed mode. Maybe this is something Zac could rectify? I've literally only used this about twice, when it has been a mechanical error (the die hasn't gone where I intended to place it), and in cases like the last two days when I made genuine mistakes, I play on and take my punishment, but it could easily be abused.

But if you place a rack and then a die jump switches two dice at the end of a rack, so you can't undo, that's perfectly fair?

Or if there's a die jump that you don't notice until the next rack, but completely messes up your game, that's in the spirit of the game?

This stuff doesn't happen very often any more, since Zac has improved the site, but used to happen a lot.

If your game is screwed by a bug then it's obviously not fair to get deducted rating. But neither is it fair if someone avoids the rating bump by quitting but I guess this is only a problem if players abuse the system.
