5 games each round to be played whenever you have time, maybe every 2 or 3 days if you advance.

Almost no commitments at all. 5 games per round. No time frame. If you're still in after the round of sixteen, which is likely per your DC rating, another 5 games in round of 8 and go on until you win the tourney or are eliminated. You basicly play when you want. The tourneys tab will show (1) until you're eliminated (or win). It's really fun and it's quick, really.

Isn't the (x) next to the Tourneys supposed to tell you that you have moves to make in x tourneys? If so I don't get why I get Tourneys (1) when in my only active tourney I have played all my 5 games and am waiting for my opponent to play his games.

does everyone get the same set of games, or is it just you and the person you're up against that round ?

For now I made Alex back into the owner of his own game, but the DC wins totals won't be corrected for a while.

Not surprisingly these best out of 5 matches have a huge amount of variance. Might as well have, makes things more interesting when upsets have more frequently.

I feel like Timed mode needs some kind of tournament system as well, since it seems like pretty much everyone is playing these new tourneys instead of it. Obviously these are easier to play in that you don't need to have players be online at the same time (and Gaby has enough time to actually finish games ).

Maybe similar where you can play hu matches in a single elimination, but could be other possibilities as well, for example some kind of set amount of games that count and you get points for finishing positions. For example 4 players play 10 games, points gained are 4-3-2-1 (or 5-3-2-1 if win is valued more) for each game based on finishing positions. Then just combine points for the games to see who wins etc. Or another option would be to just chasing wins until one player has for example 5 wins. Another mode could be cumulative score over a set amount of games.

NP still doesn't show up on the Timed player counter. Also his "last played" information isn't working either if that helps to find the problem.
