Would not call what he has been doing as taking charge and I am not sure why you think it is.

Taking charge would be doing actual villagery stuff and trying to get other villagers to do the same. That is not what he has done.

Unless you think taking charge is just telling people to lynch someone and threatening them with being lynched leading the village.

The Mets/Dice fiasco is good for the village in terms of making them both super likely villagers, but bad in the long run.

Still not convinced that rewarding mets for this sort of play is a good thing.

Think I will just ignore him for the rest of the game and let everyone else deal with it.

It's not rewarding him for it. It's just experience tells us it's something he'll do as a villager.

Sort of like TN will always mention being busy because of her kids and Gad will always get emo at some point for some reason. You just have to have certain allowances for people's baseline tendencies.

RJ, Bhub for the same reasons as the other two.

Hasn't displayed a villager mindset in regard to much of anything. Most of his posts are quotes of other people's thinking and then a quick response.

It's an easy way to blend in.

Plus his vote, like I said, seemed like a copout.

The game thread has been open for three days and all three of Sooted, UAW and Bhuber haven't done much in the way of driving original thought.

Sooted has been the worst.

He's virtually claimed wolf imo.

Interesting thought, and I know I said I would drop it but it seems worth mentioning.

Using up all your posts early seems like a great way to take no responsibility for the end of day action. It also means you can pretty much vote who you like as you can claim you changed your reads but couldn't make a post explaining it.

Something to consider.

i think you guys are way overplaying to mets' meta. you can't give him villager credit for doing stuff that is 1. anti-villagery and 2. easy to do as a wolf, even if he is apt to do it a lot as a villager.

i can follow sim's thought process. that's good. and i prefer xxsooted over leafs or dice.

Dice, Mets is incapable of trusting anyone who makes a peep that there's even a possibility that he could be a wolf. He can't remove himself from the equation enough to allow that villagers don't know other people's roles and can - gasp - be suspicious of him.

All by itself, that wouldn't be the worst thing ever, but it's usually something players grow out of with experience.

He doesn't realize that wolves just avoid him and he Thunderdomes with villagers all the time - as a villager. Even if every other thing they say in the game drips villager, he is eternally mistrusting.

And actually, no, this in and of itself actually isn't a good reason to change your vote. Someone being here and defending is meaningless. It's the content of the defense that has meaning.
