It's getting to the point where I need to balance critical acclaim, popularity/staying power, and significance/influence more carefully. Plus my own affection.

When this is done, I'll post what remains of my list, and argue what I think should be on the list (not that I disagree with anything so far.). In addition, it's hard to figure how well newer books will do in such lists.

It would be interesting to separate stand alone books from series. For instance, I would put Dune at the top of the book list, but further down the series list.

Kinda shocked Peaky Blinders isn't on there. I mean, it's no BBT or Grey's Anatomy, but still.

A lot of it was written a long time ago, that's for sure. I've probably reached the limit of what I can recall seeing on such lists before this game. I hope Doctor Zeus has, as well. Now I'm going on what I know are classics and what seem to be successful. No guarantees about them, though.

It's tough to judge shows like this.

Yeah, some episodes are amazing, but then they have stuff like Waldo or that one with Miley Cyrus that are just terrible.

Any-hoo, the critics viewed the series as a whole highly.
