Been watching a lot of gameshows because of the lockdown.. mainly The Chase and Tenable but I don't think it's possible to do The Chase as a POG game.. (if anyone has any idea how to make it work go ahead and try!)
Tenable can work though.. basically it's a game where you have to find the top 10 answers to a question and try and win money and get back to your teammates for the final. You need to get at least 5 correct answers to get to the final and start accumulating money.
You have 3 nominates per game which you can use to nominate another member of your team to answer for you if you're unsure (plus there is an overrule button that the team captain can use to overrule a person's answer but I don't see how that will work here, so i'll give an extra nominate instead?)
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tenable - give that a read and if you have any questions how the game works just ask and i'll answer. Will need 5 players, and i'll rand to see who will be team captain.
There are 4 rounds to begin with, each member of the team (bar the captain) faces a question and tries to accumulate money. Everyone has 1 life so can afford to get 1 question wrong, but 2 questions wrong then you're sent to the vortex and unable to play in the final round unless the captain wins you back.
The captain is guaranteed to play in the final round but they have a choice - if they get 5 correct answers they can decide to bring back a member of the team that is in the vortex for the final round or they can accumulate money instead.
The final round consists of another top 10 question but all the members who survived their round (or was brought back by the captain) participate with no conferring.
Errr I think that's everything.. just read the Wikipedia page lol, any questions? Obviously will be no research allowed
Money will be as follows:
10p for 5 correct answers
25p for 6 correct answers
50p for 7 correct answers
£1 for 8 correct answers
£2 for 9 correct answers
£5 for 10 correct answers
Maximum you can win is £25, any winnings will go towards a charity of the team's choice
(I suppose we could play for no money but it makes it a bit more interesting and it is for charity so up to everyone else, £25 is the most I can afford though lol)
