Keep crossing swords with the puzzle and I'm sure you'll get it.

This is the puzzle I am most satisfied with, so far. There are bits I'm not happy with, but feel good about it, generally.

My time is not reliable.. I shut it down yesterday and took a screenshot of where I was. I would say closer to 60 or 70 minutes total time, with 25 of those mins just staring at the board doing unsuccessful POE in my head...lol

I've got another that I hope is rounding the final turn. The back stretch is still pretty long, though. It will make better use of anti-palindromes.

23:02 time on it. Haven't look at the previous one yet.

Caught the entry but misread part of it. I caught it quickly at least.

I don't know the game at all, so I don't know if it would have helped the break in.

Probably wouldn't help. Mostly the name amused me because of the importance of 8 and 9 at the beginning, which are important numbers in baccarat.

Eggbeaters

Standard sudoku rules apply.

Digits in a cage sum to the number in the upper left corner of the cage.

Grey lines are palindromes: the nth digit from one end equals the nth digit from the other end.

Green lines are anti-palindromes: the nth digit from one end added to the nth digit from the other end sums to 10.

Please let me k now what you think of this puzzle.

24:55. I liked the chain reactions each time a pencil mark was removed.

Well, I got it after fixing my error... (treating the 4 cell anti-palindrome as a normal one)

Yours are the only sudoku puzzles I do at the moment, so keep me coming..lol

I used to do one normal one a day but they are not that fun compared to the variant and variant combo ones you make..

There are lots more, better than mine (for now), out there at the places I suggested. Also quite a few youtube channels devoted to sudoku. CtC, obviously, but also Scott Strohsal and Rangsk, for examples.

I still love solving the classic sudokus best, but they are also much harder to make, for me at least. Pretty soon you are going to want to make your own. It's a disease, like zombie-ism.

I'm reading this to mean that C2R9 plus C5R6 should equal 10. But that doesn't seem to be the case. Please help me understand.

That is what it means. C5R6 should be easy to deduce, giving you C2R9.

If you are finding otherwise, send me a picture, and I'll see if I can straighten things out.

Dots and Dots of Threes

Standard sudoku rules apply.

Cells separated by a white dot have a difference of 3.

Cells separated by a black dot are in a 1:3 ratio.

All black dots are given.

I think this is my hardest puzzle to date – maybe 4/5. It should go something like smooth sailing – rough waters – breakthrough – repeat. I hope. Please let me know how you found this one, and is my estimate accurate? In any case, I hope it’s fun.

38:18. You were right, several stalls trying to find the next breakthrough. I'll PM you my toughest one.

Shameful amount of time to solve it. The fact 4,5,7,8 don't work with black dots makes it harder than easier of typical kropki.

Been trying some thermo, slow thermo and kropki puzzles lately and enjoying them.

This kropki one was great..

Spoiler:
I did think the way he solved a big chuck of boxes 1,4 and 7 at the beginning was a bit of FPS. If the only two V dominos are populated with 1234, then it becomes clear that C1,R1 and C1,R2 have 2 of 6789 and thus prevent the box 7 chain from running high to low starting in C1 and it has to run low to high.

Where's the best place to find solutions/help on CtC app puzzles?

Working on #26 in Arrow Sudoku, it's an arrow sandwich puzzle but I definitely don't get how they explain their hints to get started.
