Any sudoku lovers here? I've just recently started watching Cracking The Cryptic YouTube channel and it's brilliant, they post videos nearly every day and well worth watching (the guy's excitement is contagious)

Can also play along with their puzzles and they have phone apps as well if you want to actually play the game.. although i'm not good enough yet to solve any of those difficult video ones so I just watch them lol

Also if you know any other good sudoku websites/channels post them here too, the different variations (chess, sandwich, killer sudoku etc) seem really interesting i'm trying to get better at all of them

I find out about them randomly and love the unique restriction puzzles over classic. Makes the puzzles require different thought process and some idea of Kokuro sums

Yeah the app costs money but the YouTube ones you can just click on the link provided and play along for free

Do you have to be there when the YouTube video premieres or can you do it whenever?

I've seen these guys in my YT feed sometimes. I've watched about 20 minutes of one of their videos once. It was decent but I didn't really have the time for more

I play a game called "Keen" which is part of a free app that I think is just titled "Puzzles". It's a more complex version of sudoku and scratches my puzzle-solving itch.

Yeah, I found X but then typo'd somewhere and had an 8 in the wrong spot after I had solved all the X's.

Been watching a ton of Cracking the Cryptic since my friend introduced it to me a couple weeks ago. I'm addicted.

I played the chess one with just the 1 and 2 showing and the land/sea one with the arrows. How can I play more of these types? Are these available on the app? Is there an app version for laptop? It's not something I'd want to play on the phone.
