After at least 2 or 3 minutes of contemplation I've decided the following:

1) I am just going to run a big Guesstimania game (unless I decide to put up other games before that reveal).

2) I am open to suggestion if there are particular other variants you think would be fun with this data.

3) I will put up the Guesstimania questions no earlier than 3 pm server time Friday (a bit less than 18 hours from now).

4) Lists are due before I put up the thread. As such, I recommend getting them in within 18 hours.

5) You can play the games without submitting a list, but there will be generous bonuses for list submitters in any variant that runs.

I have no idea where I ranked it, but DC is fun to visit and nowhere near the bottom. The ranking was specifically about visiting.

Yeah but every state has something better to visit than a terrible monolithic city. Natural beauty etc. And you can pick a nice season.

Don't think I ranked it last but 100% bottom few.

Every state offers something, but some really struggle when it comes to natural beauty. Plains states like Kansas and Nebraska are mostly very dull topographically. You get east of the Badlands and things get sparse.

Also don’t agree that a city is inherently a bad vacation spot. Places with cool history and/or culture are good.

I think the bottom states have to be the ones with no interesting cities and no significant nature on offer.

I ranked it #1 and haven’t been there. Biggest drawback is having to fly all that way, but I’m sure it’s excellent.

That said, the Outer Banks are going to sink into the ocean before JM reveals this, so maybe a lower rating will be appropriate.

I had it rated decent for sure. Decent climate. A few decent cities. Mountains. Tough to tough to seperate from some west coast places and north east. Probably the best southern state?

I had Florida #2. Warm weather. Disney. Great fishing. Tampa is pretty cool. The Keys are awesome.

Then again, I left Florida a year ago for no reason other than to get the heck out of Florida.
