I suspect it will be more mechanical, with less input from the players.

Pair with Luckbox

To keep the game running.

That makes it me and Paasei then…we got this!

Pairings are known

eyebooger-filthyvermin
Onuzq-Luckbox
Eric-Mark
bloo-zeus
zurvan-bsball
luke-paasei

Now all Game Master duos need to agree on a player number and PM that to me.
If I get multiple submissions from a single team (maybe, because you do not agree), then the last submission will count.

At the moment, I have very few answers in my inbox

Ah, my bad. Dunno how I missed that one.

Paasei attacked Bloo, so I need to reduce bloo by 10 as well.

However, Bloo was teamed up with filthy and filthy retaliated Paasei, so Paasei also looses 10 men.

Bloo submitted you as his team-up choice.

That info wasn't shared or it would be too easy to decide about backstabbing

hmm, the classification table wasn't quite right. Let's see if I can get it right the third time

Still missing some team choices

Communication might be a PITA due to lol timezones, so I'll wait for a reasonable amount of time

We're getting to the interesting part of the game imo and I don't want to hurry you

In games that require communication I don't really care how much time you take. So fine for me.

I got an answer from luckbox, but it didn't sound definitive, so I'm waiting for confirmation.

All Game Master pairs have submitted the number of players, so we can play Round 3: ROCK-PAPER-SCISSORS. Here are the rules:
  • We play Rock-Paper-Scissors for a number of rounds.
  • The number of rounds will depend on the amount of players you play. All Game Master pairs will receive by PM their specific match details.
  • Both Game Masters must submit to me, by PM, their choices for Rock/Paper/Scissors for each round
  • Each round the fate of a number of players will be at stake, as evenly divided as possible
  • The winner of a round keeps his players, the loser loses his players.
  • When a round of RPS is a draw, BOTH Game Masters lose their players for that round
  • Collusion in your submissions is obviously allowed. Treachery is too.
  • Remember the One Rule of the game, though

Please submit your choices for RPS for all rounds in a single PM in an unnumbered list

I expect answers in about 48h, but I will not be too nitty about it, this round.

Remember that defecting wil be a thing at the end of this round. If you are in the bottom 6 of the classification and lost less than 50 players, players WILL defect to a competitor.

To make sure all is crystal clear, an example. Game Master A and B play for 100 players. I've told them to play 10 round for each 10 players. In every one of the 10 rounds, GM A loses 10 players OR GM B loses 10 players or BOTH lose 10 players.

They decide to collude and Game Master A agrees to submit 10x Paper (PPPPPPPPPP), while Game Master B agrees to submit 5x Rock and 5x Scissors (RSRSRSRSRS).

Player A however submits 10x Rock, while Game Master B follows the agreement. As a result, A loses 50 players and B loses his entire team.

Thinking about this game inspired some ideas about an expanded version of the Prisoners' Dilemma. If the Prisoners can select from different types or levels of betrayal, you could end up with a nxn matrix, or even an infinite one. It might make an interesting master's thesis.

bsball and zurvan ended last, but played pretty optimally, willingly or by coincidence, to not concede players to the 2 top dogs.

Dr. Zeus and bloo could have increased their losses as well, but didn't and they send some defectors over to Eric and Onuzq

Onuzq and Luckbox managed to tie 9 times out of 20 games :/
They can learn something from mark and eric, who tied only once in what appears to have been a real RPS battle.
