You say each has a matching number 0 through 11, but there are only 11 items, which would mean 1 number is missing. Not sure if this is intentional or not.

Whoops, sorry!

ZERO THROUGH TEN. (Maybe a mod can fix that?)

Put a number, zero through ten, on each item. You can use each number only once.

need final answers from 8 people:

dkgo
msu
mediaPA
flee
tom
comp
sarcastic
manu

I was going to say, Make sure you dont let a nonsubmission cost your team the gold...But Team A is all submitted. So, barring a massive collective Team A failure on the final quiz, they've got first sewn up.

But let's get the answers in so we can have an accurate final points standings.

Here's how everyone except dkgo, sarcastic and manu did on the final:

Team A
steroid 99
truenorth 102
donga 48
mjw 87
willie 57
total: 393

Team B
dudd 57
EMD 75
dkgo
msu 75
mediaPA 18
total: 225

Team C
bairdo 84
fleebrog 63
sixfour 51
tom1975 72
comp13 66
total: 336

Team D
sarcastic
cards 105
zimmer 72
pwnsall 75
manupod
total: 252

Team A, as they've done all along, crushed it...however, they haven't mathematically clinched yet.

Standings:
Team A 1364
Team D 1118
Team C 1041
Team B 950

Team A has a 246 point lead on Team D. The Showdown quiz has a potential total of 123 points. (Exactly one half of A's lead.) So if manu and sarcastic both were to ace it, we'd have a tie.

I know, it's beyond unlikely--it'd be even more improbable than that piece of **** David Tyree catching that ball with his helmet two superbowls ago...but I don't want to call it just yet. Everyone played for too long to slam the door on a team's hopes (albethey infinitessimal) just because they're 4 hours late.

I'll extend the deadline til Wednesday 10AM EST. If I don't have both their submissions by then, we'll call it final, and I'll post the final quiz answers.

Also good work by Team C to climb out of the basement! (Although if DKGO sends in a score of 92 or better he can pull Team B into third place.)

fwiw, that outstanding Raiders QB is a more effective cheat catcher than anything that PyramidScheme could possibly come up with. I was playing in multiple fantasy leagues that year and have pretty good memory for obscure players, and I was like "oh man, THAT guy?" when I looked it up...

NFL field 53.5 yards
MLB home plate 17 inches
7. Chop Block, Ineligible receiver downfield, safety, illegal forward pass, Intentional grounding
8. Kansas Memphis 2008. (I goofed on this. Didn’t realize or see that they went OT last year. I was going for AZ/KY in 97)

Thanks to everyone for playing. It was fun. Luck of the draw that Team A got paired up like they did and just coulnd't be caught. Solid from top to bottom, plus TrueNorth pursued those diamond bonuses with the tenacity of a crack-fiend.

One diamond that went unanswered: which Raider QBs led the team in 97 and 98? Most people knew Jeff George was one of them. The other was Donald Hollas (!) in 98. And yes, Legend, if anyone had rattled that off, I might have had to suspect them of foul play.

So confused on the chop block one... they signal to the knees for it. This looked like a different motion altogether.

when the ref goes to (the front of) his knees, it's for Illegal Block Below the Waist.

the signal in the quiz--open hands hitting the top of the thighs--is for chop block

Lots of people confuse those signals--and the fouls themselves, mjw. add: I know plenty of officials who incorrectly signal chop block with a hand to the knee.

Sorry I kind of abandoned this, my family decided to move for the first time in my life when I was in the middle of a bunch of stuff (I've totally tanked my team in the tlb contest in the MTT forums). This was an awesome game, thanks for running. Definitely in for another one once my internet and stuff gets going again.

I think I said chop block thinking it was wrong and then I looked it up and I thought it was illegal pushing which I've never actually seen called.
