New scoreboard below:

Team A stretches its lead. That'll happen when you win back to back thunderdomes. TrueNorth putting up a monstrous 65 pts. (22 on the bears, doubled--plus 20 thunderdome and, as if to gloat, a bonus on embree just now.)

No lead is insurmountable, however, as I'll probably be taking a page out of Family Feud's book, where dollar values get TRIPLED towards the end.

Team A 435
Team D 362
Team B 355
Team C 343

Donga's 19 was tops amongst the middlemen. So he chooses the next category. Cant' keep ignoring baseball anymore:

World Series starting lineups

or

Hey chyme - love the game. Since teams A and D competed in the first two THUNDERDOMES, are teams B and C going to get the same scoring chances? Scores are definitely skewed because of that. No big deal, just wondering.

3 more bonuses inspired by LOST (I'm all about the tie-ins):

Name the last pro team each of these athletes played for

1. DESMOND Howard
2. JACK Morris
3. BENoit Benjamin

Remember, you get only one guess per player.

Question 3: Starting lineups in Game 1 of the 2008 WS

You can pick either team to be your main, 2pt list. (Whichever team you know more of, make that your main team for 2pts each. You can't toggle back and forth for main entries.*)

2 points for each correct player by position. 1 point bonus for naming his counterpart on the other team.

Send PM with a single spaced list, in this order:

Starting Pitcher, player, opposing team's player
Catcher, player, opposing team's player
1B, etc. etc.
2B
3B
SS
LF
CF
RF
DH

*Just to clarify in case there's any confusion:. Say we were doing the 07 WS and you chose boston as your 2pt team and sent this:

1B, Youkilis, Helton
2B, Pedroia, Matsui
3B, Lowell
SS, Tulowitski

You'd get 2 pts each for youk pedroia and lowell. and 1 pt each for helton and matsui. but you'd get no points for tulowitski. get it?

DEADLINE: FRIDAY 10AM EST.

Work's making it dicey for me, but let's plan on some Thursday afternoon Thunderdome. I want to see B and C players calling each other out. Like this guy.

Can I request a sub for this question? lol

Does listening to my local sportstalk count as 'research'? I should get a few from there. I'd probably do better with the classic team 1993 ftw?

yeah me neither. I remember aaron boone's homer off wakefield and that's all. didn't watch anything after that.

still a out there for naming the team on which benoit benjamin ended his illustrious 14 year nba career. hint: it was 1990 and he played a whopping 3 games for this team.

also, a for the first person to name another movie that this guy has been in. (The Warriors wasnt a sports movie, admittedly. but they DID use lots of baseball bats in it, if I recall correctly.)
