I'd like to suggest a small suggestion to the thunderdome.

The loser gets negative points if the list is correct (I think it's 25% of the total) How about if he can provide correct answers that weren't supplied, he can get back 1 pt for each correct answer. He can't end up in the positive though.

a wrong answer would mean losing 2x as many points

hey media, let me help you out with something: I make the rules. you just follow them. in fact, you know what? you're out of the game. I'll get a sub to replace you.

haha! (did you buy that even for a second?) that's a great idea. will start it with this thunderdome. my only tweak is that we wont do the double negative if the thunderdome loser gets one wrong. the shame of losing thunderdome and a handful of points is enough punishment.

so who's in? Dudd you still in? If we don't have a taker from C, we'll open it up to D too.

steroid I docked you for throwing out answers to the other 2 diamond questions after you'd answered the 3pointer. (I had said in an earlier diamond batch that when multiple diamonds go up, you can only get one....did you not know that? If you dind't know it, I could reduce the sentence to a 1 or 2 point docking.)

Who Wants to Be a Schwabbonaire?

I'll throw out a "Fastest Finger" multiple choice question. First person to post the correct matches/order gets 1 point and gets to play.

Next there will be a max of 3 questions just for him: a 3-pointer, 6-pointer, 9-pointer. If he gets the first one right, he can choose to continue or take the points and run. If he gets either the 6 or 9 pointer wrong, he loses everything save for the 1 point from fastest finger.

He also gets one "Phone a Friend" where he can ask a teammate for help in the thread.
