So, couple of random things:

1) Four entries are from people I know personally: my girlfriend, two of our friends, and then a collective entry from my mom and brother. These will be scored as normal and will influence other people's scores as normal, but won't count for podium purposes.

2) Diamond Bonus #1 As I have mentioned, the distinctions drawn between correct and incorrect answers for this game are often somewhat arbitrary. In recognition of that, I am awarding a double diamond ( ) to anyone whose answer just missed being correct -- that is, it needed to be on 5 lists to be correct, but was only on 4, for example. A double diamond is worth a -1 bonus point in the scoring -- so the answer is still scored incorrect, but your score for it is one less than other incorrect answers.

3) Diamond Bonus #2 I will also be rewarding those people who guessed an answer that (kinda arbitrarily) appeared on the most lists for a given category and are therefore "the greatest" of the best as far as these lists are concerned. Each answer like that will earn a , which is equivalent to half a bonus point in the scoring.

(You get the diamond bonus even if the answer that qualifies is a worse-scoring Twofer answer for you. So I guess it's possible for someone to have a Twofer on a question, for one answer to be an incorrect near miss and earn a double diamond, for the other answer to be a correct ace, and thus end up with a 0 or even -0.5 for that round. But I don't think that happened.)
