electric and pencil apparently together could get us there

Axes cut, and, shavings are off cuts. Penciles write and writing is implied in what we're looking at.

Chainsaw wasn't close really at all....

I wanna know what writing to the left of shavings means because it's a bit alien to me lol. AE any idea?

Sharpener just seems the most likely off clues....but not off how they've spoken about it

Kinda at a loss and yea the way they spoke makes me think nothing is close

My understanding is "axe is below, or to the side" or something like that so much weaker clue

My combo proposal was for writing shaver as I thought that combo was more clearly pencil sharpener

But shavings had better one clue bink equity and wasn’t far behind in 2 word equity

Mostly just this is first game and you didn’t know to just guess pencil sharpener to get all 3 possible answers

Yea the comments absolutely did not help me there

I would have said we were much much closer, especially on pencil we're "almost entirely there"

I see how it's 50% because we have 1 of 2 words but considering we mentioned it I don't get why we didn't just get "you're warm warm warm hot hot almost there", instead I'm thinking it's a complete other direction

You presented it as a binary choice of pencil or sharpener

If we say pencil is almost there then you may go with crayons or markers or pens or blueprints or who knows

Was hoping by saying it was 50% there y’all would realize it can be two words and try pencil sharpener

Anyway; it’s fine and it was a learning experience; I think everyone will go with two word combos when possible like here in the future

It did take too long tho; hoping the next rounds go faster so this picks back up steam

Re-reading your post, I want to emphasize that the closeness is only related to your bolded word, not your conversation

So you mentioning sharpener didn’t play into it because you didn’t bold sharpener

We can’t say “your discussion is on fire” or “you mentioned the target 10 times already, just bold it”

It is “your guess of pencil is exactly 50% of the way there” not “your discussion of pencil sharpener is 50% of the way there”

b6 is the most obvious example, but we shouldn't have to get there

we don't seem to have the letters for the other obvious examples

there is p6 and p5 or p9, but none are slam dunks

hoping someone thinks of a good one

There’s a 9-letter H that could be good

The 6- and 9- letter P words aren’t bad either. I’d probably go with the 6 as it more directly ties to the target without a bunch of potential noise.
